I tend to wing it when shading so the only tips I can offer are, I use Airbrush 20% and Gaussian blur; lots and lots of layers is helpful too.

Sorry I canā€™t be more helpful, I honestly donā€™t stick to a certain plan or anything, I just do it :see_no_evil:

I doubt it will help, but I start with the darker shading first :woman_shrugging: I only darken the skin tone a little at first so I know where to shade and I have a basic guide of where needs a darker contour (jaw line, under the chin, nose creases e.t.c.). Then I move onto highlight, again only a little lighter than the base skin tone, then lighten when I know where needs it (cheekbones, between eyebrows, nose tip e.t.c)

I think Iā€™ve said this about 1000 times throughout this thread, I. HATE. DRAWING. HAIR :joy: It takes the longest amount of time, I always draw it wrong and have to redo it a hundred times :roll_eyes:
