Or that I am competing in general? Because I actually don’t want to compete with anyone but just meet other artists and their art 
95% of people in my area don’t draw because they tell me that I get them down (I don’t know if this meaning exists in English, I’m from Germany btw, but it means something like to make others feel bad about their art?). But on the other hand, they always ask me if I have something new to present, so that’s kind of strange to me and they usually tell me if it is sarcasm.

Leads me to a new question. Do you also get stupid reminders of other people? Ex. in art class, when the teacher says that your new task is to draw xy, and some are instantly saying ‘‘there goes the A+ to [insert your Name here]’’? I don’t know why this pi°°es me off so much. Or people who really want that you draw their work for them so that they can get a better grade in arts.

oh no i mean in the cover contest haha!! I just saw the character fleur and I was like :o !! And no, thankfully I was never really in a class like that ;A; sounds stressful to have that sort of expectations on your shoulders though. my peers were all super talented and worked hard to get in the class so they all wanted to be there. it was a lot of healthy competition and support, a great environment to be in tbh. I was very lucky
