IbisPaint has a “pen fade” brush that’s really smooth & fades out at the end. Usually, I first do a rough sketch of whatever I’m drawing with the pen fade brush & a blue-ish color. Using stabilizer (setting 6 with force face on at 40%) I draw over the rough sketch and make sure my lines are as clean as possible. Using stabilizer helps me with do. I alpha lock the layer & change the lineart to a pink-ish shade, doing this because the skin color I chose will have pink undertones & shade colors. This helps the colors & shading blend in with the lineart more, and helps the end result to come out smoother.
I understand you use Medibang right? So there probably isn’t a brush on there like the pen fade one on IbisPaint. However, I can recommend you an artist who gives out free brushes for Medibang & she does really good semi-realism art too! I hope I explained it a little well enough.
