i might sound like a lame adult and maybe this comment will even get flagged but the forums are not the best place for anyone to be sharing personal photos. It’s a public forum where everyone can view any topic no matter how old/new it is. Posts on the forums rarely/never get deleted (they get archived), while comments can be edited/deleted by you (the user) and the admins. I did not go through all the 200 comments but i am sure there’s at least 1 underage person. If you are under 18 you should have no reason to post photos of yourselves just because there was a post about it and other people are doing it. People that are over 18 are legally responsible for their actions (online or not). What I am saying is, what your parents say about people can do loads of things with your photos online it’s true. Deepfake is a type of AI that can mimic your exact face and do expressions/movements that you might have never done in a photo/video (now this kind of technology requires tons of photos and videos of yourself so you can rule this out except if you have a youtube channel). Another scary thing that we cannot unfortunately track that easy (only with the help of the police) is the dark web. If your photos get uploaded over there for malicious content and somehow you (the owner) finds out you will have a hard time tracking the person who did it down. With all that, please be careful online. It’s not a joke. There’s no such thing as ‘I am being careful. I know what I am doing.’ Unless you are an IT expert you don’t. (and that goes for me too. i am not saying i haven’t done stupid things online when i was a kid. cause i have and I regret them)
