you can always look for some less eventful pieces of music in the sound library. Plus music and sound effects will help make the story less boring, they will keep the reader more interested so they don’t exit before the more exiting bits come along. For a casual background music, these are some options I recommend:

They are a bit to the cheerful side but they’re mostly casual. This not be a suitable list cause it kinda depends on what kind of story you are writing.
