Name (First & Last) :
Unforgettable. Anyone who has ever met Conall, or merely just caught a glimpse of him will agree that ‘unforgettable’ is the word that describes him perfectly. Spotting him in a crowd is an simple task- he’ll be the one at the center of a group, head tilted slightly backwards in careless laughter, gesturing with one hand while holding a drink and casually sipping it with the other. Making friends is a natural process to him because of his obvious love for social interaction, and his extroverted nature. The prospect of meeting new people was always viewed as something special to him, possibly the start of a new, lifelong friendship. If others are too timid to approach him, he will introduce himself to them with a warm smile first. Conall isn’t picky about who he converses with; he isn’t bothered by either human or mutant (although mutants are a bit unsettling to him). People typically find it easy to talk to him because he’s always lending an ear to listen, and his relaxing presence lulls others into security to talk about matters they won’t normally discuss, making him an ideal choice for a conversation partner.
Conall doesn’t wait for life to be offered to him on a silver platter; he chases it, and won’t be satisfied until he has caught it and runs with it. As an avid entertainer, his energy and enthusiasm is undeniable, and Conall loves to put on a performance. The shining star taking center stage- that’s him, and Conall enjoys the attention although it can get to his head at times. You can find him dancing out of nowhere with a spark of joy in his eyes, trying to make others laugh; either at him or with him, he doesn’t care. All he wants to do is to brighten someone’s day. Others sometimes perceives him as ‘foolish’ because of this.
Conall is open minded to the unpredictable. He will drag others out of their comfort zone to join him in new adventures, ready to drop everything in just a moment’s notice. When he’s up to something bold, a spontaneous light gleams dangerously in his eyes, and his lips curl up in a daring smirk. Traveling is always on his mind; he finds it difficult to stay still, and hates being trapped. A successful event to him is when all of his guests enjoys themselves, and his fun spirit almost always ensures this.
With a wild, high pitched shriek at every insignificant thing that disgusts him, Conall is able to make a mountain out of an anthill very quickly. People describe his movements as ‘animated’. Conall likes to think of himself as ‘original’ or ‘individualistic’. One thing’s for certain- he definitely doesn’t fit in with the crowd. His motivation make him stick out as clear as day. The optimistic outlook he has on life allows him to rise above any occasion, no matter how impossible it seems. His clothing ‘style’ doesn’t allow him to blend in either. His outfit is either a genius fashion choice… or a cringy mistake. Typically a cringy mistake. Even though he likes to believe that he’s stylish, many may beg to differ. His “Go big or go home” ‘fashion’ attitude causes people to cringe slightly and nod nervously at his outfit choices, whereas only the bravest have the heart to point out how nothing he wears really fits together when he seems so excited. His clothes are a form of self expression he loves and utilizes every day. The amount of his time and effort dedicated to making sure he looks the best can make him be regarded to as vain.
Embarrassment doesn’t exist in Conall’s world. He’s not self-conscious by anything he’s done, and he feels completely comfortable with who he is.- and it shows. His natural confidence in himself shoves asides any insecurities. Blushing or being flustered by any of his past experiences is very uncommon for him. Because of this, he usually teases and reminds others of their embarrassing experiences, knowing that they can’t use the same trick on him. Others’ judgement holds no value over him; he knows he doesn’t need to justify his actions to others and will continue on with what he’s doing shamelessly. Conall will dismiss the negative comments and will continue to be positive. Even though he does seem like a doormat sometimes because how willingly he is to help others, he is not afraid to stand up for himself when it calls for those times. He accepts compliments with ease, even if it’s thick with sarcasm (which he doesn’t understand).
If you ever land yourself in a conversation with Conall, prepare to clear hours of time off of your schedule. Once stuck with him, plan for a whirlwind of topics, and certainly, a fun time. His rapid pace of speech and his exaggerated hand gestures paired with his over-the-top act can enchant everyone to stop what they’re doing and listen to him. Don’t count on even one moment of complete silence during a conversation- He will continue prattling until he runs out of things to say. This chattersome nature of his can lead to disaster, as he rarely is able to keep a secret, or quiet too, for that matter. His eagerness to hear others opinions may be the reason why he works so well in a team. Conall’s curiosity leads him to poke and prod in unwanted places; there’s been way too many times where he has eavesdropped in on a conversation and ‘invited’ himself into it midway. You can rarely get any piece of gossip past him. Although Conall doesn’t mean to often, a conversation is usually focused on him. This can cause him to become self centered and brag quite often.
It’s expected that he may make some insensitive ‘jokes’ because he blurts without thinking through with what he’s saying. Conall prefers to keep neutral in arguments and not take sides unless needed because he doesn’t want any enemies. Over the years, his skin has grown thicker and he’s able to brush off mean comments like they don’t affect him as all. If anyone insults him or someone he loves, he will be sure to retort back. Conall loves one-upping others and proving them wrong, using others’ backlash to improve himself. His response to fear is always fight first, flee next. He doesn’t like physical combat though; he was never trained so he’s not physically capable to fight, rendering him useless then. Peace to him is preferred over war. In the rare moments when he is angry, it’s strongly advised not to talk to him. His still, tense, and quiet demeanor when furious frightens many.
When people hear him continuously talk so much about himself, some assume he’s shallow. He can come off as annoying or clingy at times, but the people who truly know him describes him as ‘endearing in his own infuriating way.’ Yes, he may not be the smartest person ever, yes, he may be dense at times, yes, he may be a complete and utter moron sometimes, but he accepts himself the way he is.
As a naturally empathetic person, his emotions shift depending on the mood and atmosphere around him. He’s observant to others emotions, and is an expert on cheering others up and lifting their spirits. When someone seems gloomy to him, he will continuously ask the person, “Are you okay?” Most people brighten easily and find it difficult for the frown to still stay on their face when they sense his upbeat spirit. Conall is always willing to lend a helping hand and give advice. Just as he isn’t afraid of other’s emotions, he doesn’t shy away from his own either. Conall accepts that he has to ask for help sometimes. Generosity comes easily to him. He will give and give until he doesn’t have anything left; volunteer to help simply because he wants to be kind and enjoys the feeling of pure joy, not expecting a favor back.
Laid back and relaxed- that’s Conall. Instead of running on a tight, fixed schedule, he goes with the flow. Pshhh… worry about the future? No, he’d rather not have any long term goals and just have simple, short term goals. Plan B? He has no time for that!- Or a Plan A for a matter of fact. He flies through life and never has a solid idea what he’s doing exactly. Commitment is not his strong suit; Conall will only dedicate himself to someone or something when his mind is made up and he is absolutely certain. Until then though, he is very indecisive. Carefree and reckless, he wishes to be independent and released of all judgment. Conall doesn’t like it when others tell him to speed up or slow down; he will move at his own pace, whether others like it or not. As an improviser, he is normally a very confident person until he has a script in front of him and begins to overthink, therefore, becoming nervous.
Conall’s birth was unplanned. His parents were not yet married when the doctor informed them that his mom was pregnant. When they heard the news, his mom was alarmed. Both of them were just fresh out of college, in serious debt, had minimum wage jobs, and lived in a rented apartment- how could they afford to feed another mouth? With this is mind, his mom wanted an abortion. However his dad insisted on keeping their child. They quarreled day after day about this decision; this was the first red flag that the pair wasn’t going to stay together for long. However, they both ignored the obvious warning signs and paid no heed. They had fallen too quickly in love, and believed that everything would improve from that point on only if they stuck together. After much thought, they settled on keeping the child.
Traces of Conall’s tireless spirit was already noticeable in the following months after his birth. He was a joyful child; the type that insisted on his parents’ undivided attention around the clock and woke them up several times during the night. His mom had always had an interest in starting a restaurant, and so, his parents decided to invest in one to raise their income to support this newborn and giving him a bright future. His parents would go to work each day bleary eyed from the restless night before. When his parents were at work, Conall was passed around from one family member to another to be taken care of. As their restaurant thrived, Conall’s parents were able to afford actual babysitters for him instead of asking their relatives.
It wasn’t until he entered preschool that he first noticed the strange species adults around him called ‘mutants’, He didn’t know the proper name of them at only four years old, but he did detect the obvious differences. His curiosity had already taken grasp of him at that time, and at school, he would ask random questions to the mutants he saw, unaware of how insensitive some of his questions could be. As he grew older, his interest in them deepened, and he would blurt out random questions whenever one would come into mind.
Conall was never the smartest child in class, falling into the ‘average’ range. Although, if he had to be honest with himself, the reason why his grades were always mediocre was because he never pushed himself in terms of school. He was too busy socializing, too busy spending time with friends, and strengthening relationships. He never cared too much about grades either; he didn’t have plans for any job that required straight A’s. However, Conall still did maintain his grades as he wouldn’t have been allowed to participate in his extra after school activities if he didn’t.
As he entered middle school, his eyes began opening to new perspectives that he had been blind by previously. These were the years when his parents’ arguments threatened to tear apart this family. Sure, there was the occasional bickering here and there between his parents, but he never realized how much had been happening behind the scenes, during the time he wasn’t there. The disputes were mainly about how controlling his mom was, and how his dad was ‘lazy’. A few of their fights were about mutants too; his mom firmly believing that mutants only brought trouble, he shouldn’t be friends with them, and they shouldn’t be hired for their restaurant. Meanwhile, his dad thought that mutants benefited the society and the complete opposite of his mom’s beliefs. This led to Conall losing his mutant friends and being unsure of his stance around mutants. Conall often felt like he was forced to pick sides between his mom and his dad. Almost every day started with a squabble from his parents, and Conall would arrive at school everyday with no motivation to learn anything. School was his safe haven away from his troubles, and he joined as much activities as he could to avoid his parents. His teachers were concerned, and when they asked him if anything was wrong, he lied. He had no intention of mixing his social life at school with the stress at home.
While all of the arguments were happening, the pair had still not married yet because they had wanted to continue to save up for a large, extravagant, wedding. Even after all of these fights, his parents still clung onto the hope that once they were officially married, all of their problems would be solved. And so, when Conall was in eighth grade, his parents got married. Contrary to what his parents believed in, their marriage didn’t strengthen their relationship at all. If anything, it weakened it. They were constantly stuck together, their beliefs clashing and neither could begin a conversation without the other viewing it the wrong way. Even still, they stayed together with the hope that everything would be better one day. No one outside of the family knew the troubles that laid within; they needed to maintain their perfect family image to customers, teachers, and friends.
As hard as the pair tried, when Conall was a sophomore in high school, they filed for a divorce. Their divorce process was a messy one. It was settled that his mom would keep the house, the restaurant, and that Conall would stay with his mom in the city he’s lived in his whole life. Meanwhile, his dad took this as an opportunity to return back to his to original family and find a steady job there. Even with his dad in another state, Conall still remained in close contact with him, calling and texting him every day. They weren’t as close as before, but his dad was still part of his life. Life returned to as ‘normal’ as it could be for him, moving on. His mom met someone new and married again, the man becoming his step-dad. He was never very close to his step-dad, but Conall just tolerated him.
When he heard about the opportunity to go on the cruise, he grasp it without hesitating. This was his chance to get away from his troubles, relax, and make new friendships.

Name (First & Last) :
Rosabella Wellbourne isn’t exactly an open book, but she isn’t the best at hiding her emotions either. Luckily, Rosabella has no intention of ever disguising her motives.
When someone typically hears Rosabella’s name, they think that she is a dainty and serene girl, but that is not the case. Do not underestimate Rosabella. You may think she knows nothing, but she is always steps ahead of you. She prides herself in being fierce, bold, clever, and above all, a quick learner. In dangerous situations, she always chooses to fight through her fear, defensive of her loved ones. Whoever hurts someone she’s close to will have to face the revenge she’ll deliver on them. Once an awful first impression is made, you have a hard time recovering from it and she will loathe you forever. Rosabella is a ticking time bomb, able to explode if even one word is out of line. If it takes overcome every obstacles to ensure her family’s safety, she is willing to do so. Calm in tough situations, she forces herself to be sensible when irrational fear sprints towards her. She will not just stand by idly and wait for others to save her. Rosabella knows that if she wants change, she has to take matters in her own hands and change this world herself. The promises she makes are always ones she intends on following through. Rosabella is quick and silent, sure footed with her goals in her mind. Challenges are what she lives for, and she will take it upon herself to seek the best solution as efficiently as possible.
Self confidence practically radiates off of her- she will keep her head held high even through her roughest patches, and wears the label ‘mutant’ now with pride. After those years of being the bullied turned into the bully, she vowed one day to never let their casually thrown slurs reduce her into a mess of guttural sobs. After that day, almost no one has seen her shed a tear. Those who have are only the ones she trusts the most. Rosabella will not allow others to see her doubts or ‘Achilles Heel’. She has trouble consoling others about emotions, which makes it difficult to relate and understand her. If someone does somehow trap her into taking about her emotions, she will quickly rip off her facade and try to get the experience over with as soon as possible. This may be the only time you see her fumble with her words. If anyone around her cries, she will hurry to get away from the scene. Her emotional ‘advice’ usually just ends up making the other person feel worse about themselves. She can’t stand strangers randomly hugging her either. Tough love is what Rosabella is the best at; she can’t handle emotional talks that makes her seem sensitive, for fear that she will finally shatter and everyone will be able to see the immense pressure that has been weighing down on her her whole life. You may think that she is a emotionless robot, but truth is?- She feels too strongly. If one piece of her disguise falls off, she’s not sure she can keep herself contained and doesn’t dare test it. She’s very realistic with others and with herself, borderlining on a pessimist. Rosabella can’t be bothered to let her hopes soar when all her life, her hopes have never even been touched- she can’t stand any more disappointment than she already has.
Rosabella is not the best at making plans and sticking to it. Her unpredictable nature leaves others unsure of themselves around her. She’s adventurous and able to adopt to her surroundings easily. A risk taker at heart, Rosabella will almost never refuse an offer, even if it’s an unlikely bet. The consequences of her actions don’t occur to her immediately, and at the heat of a moment, she may make some critical choices she will regret.
Respect from Rosabella is painstakingly hard to earn. You have to prove yourself to her again and again, and she only has the deepest respect for those who fight against authority and never gives in. The mutants who don’t take action are just as much as an enemy to her as humans are. Someone is either her ally, or someone she needs to ruin; there is not an ‘in-between’. Anyone who just complains and doesn’t set out for change is considered ‘lazy’ and ‘weak’ in her eyes. Rosabella is the type of person who will keep challenging your limits, and won’t be satisfied even then. She will rise up to any occasion and embrace challenge wholeheartedly. Pleasing Rosabella is difficult; she’s always criticizing others flaws and changing situations until they fit her likings. She doesn’t plan on hiding her disdain just to make others feel better. Setting out to shred others ideas and beliefs no matter how deep rooted they are, Rosabella seeks to argue and has a quick tongue, insults jabbing at her opponent, bantering back and forth with enemies using her carefully targeted words. Her guard is up around strangers and she views them with a cautious eye and an untrusting heart, reluctant to believe that others have her best intentions at heart, and always thinking about someone’s worse before realizing their best.
There’s only so much one can keep silent before they snap- and Rosabella has reached that point. After not having a voice for so long, Rosabella is determined to use it. No need for minced words- Rosabella will say it how she sees it. Her main goal in life is for equality, and she will scream it if that’s what it takes for her to be heard. She doesn’t sugar coat anything, and will get her point across as brutally honest and simple as possible. If you can’t stand her truthfulness, she can’t stand to spend time with you. Rosabella is ruthless, and has no time for pity. Not caring for small talk or long, elegant words, she will plainly state what she thinks with as few words as possible. She’s curt, not mindful of what she says or if it causes disagreements. Sometimes, she will disagree just to disagree, with no other reason than she wants to. ‘Commanding’ and ‘authoritative’ are common words describing her voice. Her voice has harsh tones to it and her snarkiness often infuriates many, but she only reserves the softer, quieter tone for her younger brother. Her thoughts challenge the status quo. Rosabella can’t seem to keep her opinions to herself; she’s always insulting someone to provoke a funny reaction.
The dangerous gleam in her eyes and her stern expression is usually enough to make others listen to her, but if they don’t, she’s always open to resorting to violence, although she prefers not to. Her everlasting scowl and sly smirk scares many away; how others react to her facial expressions is her first test against them. Rosabella is very stoic; humor and comedy are lost to her. She takes almost every matter too seriously. If she does laugh though, immediately someone should suspect something is wrong; maybe she’s furious at you and wants you to let down your guard before she starts to attack, she’s probably laughing not with you, but at you. It’s no wonder one of Rosabella’s commonly used phrase is “Seriously?!”
Not many can get along with her, as her strong opinions makes her uncompromising. Rosabella chooses her conversation partners wisely; she will only continue to converse with those who can keep up with her, and won’t be offended easily. A disliking will develop in her towards those who questions her decisions; she doesn’t find it necessary to explain herself. Life is barreling towards her and she refuses to slow down for others and be left behind herself. Rosabella usually manages to make a terrible lasting first impression.
Everything has to go her way for her to remain calm, and she believes that ‘An argument is only over when I win.’ When someone pokes fun at her or her family, she will lash out, yelling and screaming, not afraid of using physical violence to her advantage too. Anyone who jokes about serious issues important to her will find themselves at the worse end of her patience. Her need for justice pushes her get into an argument with those who laugh at matters important to her. Rosabella has a thick skin and may seem like she isn’t hurt by words easily, but those who truly know her still knows those words sting. Whenever she feels helpless or feels like she has no purpose in life, she will become irrationally frustrated because she doesn’t know what else she can do.
Even though her hatred is not justified, she is cold towards almost all humans before she has even gotten to know them. All she can think is about is what humans did in the past to her family. Although she prides herself in being logical, she’s overall ignorant that humans have difficulties too in life. Her spitefulness before even meeting any humans gets in the way of discovering that not all of them are the same. Bitterness, resentment, and most of all, jealousy, are the emotions that builds up whenever she’s near humans. Anger at her life and anger at this world is pent up inside of her, and she has never managed to find a healthy mechanism to cope with it.
Rosabella has several strengths. She’s independent and doesn’t want to burden her family with troubles so she takes her problems up on herself silently. Her belief that she can do everything alone is an unhealthy one, but it has led her to become more resilient throughout the years. Even if she’s struggling, Rosabella will keep persisting and rely on her own resources beforehand. Having to grow up too quickly to take care of her family, Rosabella has always been the mature one. Even though she doesn’t mind taking care of her family, she has always wanted the carefreeness of a child who never had to worry about money back, the toothless child who had vivid dreams of being a singer and making it onto the stage before she realized how cruel life could be. She always felt like she had a larger purpose in life than the part she has now, but has accepted her fate, because she didn’t want to keep believing in such an unattainable dream and ruin the rest of her remaining days. Rosabella’s idolizes herself because she had no one else to idolize, teaching herself from correct and wrong, all the while hoping that what she was saying to herself was true. With so many goals in mind, Rosabella is is determined and motivated to achieve them. Being a decisive and an efficient thinker helps her too.
Even if Rosabella is prideful to a point where she doesn’t even truly see her own flaws, she does have plenty of them. Hearing a genuine apology from her is rare. If a relationship isn’t strong enough, her pride will barge in and ruin it. Others sometimes perceives her as ‘mean’, while she thinks she just being truthful- but to a extreme extent. Her strong opinions make her bias in countless cases, and intolerant with differing opinions. People’s emotions comes second to her winning and succeeding. She isn’t the best with teamwork, never looking past her narrowed view to bother to cooperate and accept that someone else is correct for once. She doesn’t enjoy the feeling of someone having leverage over her.
Rosabella may appear simply as a ‘mutant’ on the outside, but she offers a whole new perspective of herself to those who never abandons her through her wild personality. She has a longings for others to lift up their veil of their view of the world and see that she is more than just a ‘lowly mutant’. Even though it may be difficult to speak to her, Rosabella still will give valuable insight about life as a mutant. It’s the people that stick around, her loved ones, that gives her the dash of hope she needs, that she will begin to listen too, and begrudgingly agree to even. The mask she wears is a test to see who will really cherish her strengths and weaknesses, for who she is, who she needs to cling onto and never let go. Rosabella rarely mentions it, but after all has been taken away from her, she’s grateful for everything she has ever received.
When Rosabella’s parents first heard the news that a girl was to be born to their household in a few months, they were thrilled. They had already had a now four year old son, Harris, and was excited to have a new addition of their family join them soon. Even though they were already struggling to provide for this small family of three, they decided to open their hearts to make room for another, not minding the extra shifts and jobs at the restaurant and shops they’d have to work to be able to provide for their daughter when she was born. Her parents decided that they wanted their newborn to bring safety and security to their family, and so, named her Rosabella. Much to their family’s joy, the delivery went smoothly, and Rosabella was birthed into this world.
Rosabella’s childhood was filled with wonder. Her household was a loving and supporting environment. She grew up very family oriented, her family a tight knitted group. Rosabella’s parents loved her with all of their heart, and made time for her and her older brother. Her parents had cooed when they realized that her blue eyes was gradually turning amber, her hair changing into red; some features of Red Foxes. She had large dreams of being a singer, making it to the big stage. Her parents and her older brother, Harris, would often laugh; she was still so young, and already had vivid dreams, before she knew how life was. In her free time, she was often found doodling and drawing on herself, bubbling happily.
Even still, Rosabella was often puzzled why her parents left the house so earlier, and came back so late each night. She never suspected how difficult maintaining a family of four was when they were struggling to afford everything they could and make ends meet. She was confused on why, when the few times her family went out, she saw the dirty looks thrown her way, the glares and quiet murmurs of pity.
It wasn’t until Rosabella was a bit older that the more noticeable signs of her being a mutant began to show. She was developing more Red Fox features similar to her older brother, her dad, and her mom. Her senses became better sharper than before. She enjoyed the long runs in the forest with her family, the wind rustling through her hair as she explored her Red Fox abilities. However, Rosabella thought nothing of this.
It wasn’t until she was old enough to attend school that she realized the difference between humans and mutants. Before school, she had been oblivious to this because how unconnected she was to the world. Rosabella never realized the clear division that still existed between her and humans. The other children in the school didn’t make such a large deal of her differences, they did have questions about it, some insensitive but she knew that was just their curiosity speaking. She was never too bothered about it- until she noticed that the human older adults and the parents of the children at her school made certain she knew that they weren’t at their level.
Meanwhile, her family still had struggles with money. When another child was born, her younger brother, Lawson, her parents had to work even harder. When she asked her parents why they were so busy, her mom only smiled sadly, while her dad told her the troubles. She wasn’t old enough to work, but in her spare time, she walked around the neighborhood, picking up bottles to recycle, running errands for people, and babysitting to earn as much money as she could. It wasn’t much, but she still wanted to help anyway she could.
As years passed by, her classmates grew less and less accepting of mutants and more narrow minded. When she entered middle school, she was teased and bullied; often rushing home with tears in her eyes. She could still hear the whispers, the deadly eyes that stared at her wherever she walked. She was envious of the joyful life others had, the expensive materials her other classmates had. She didn’t have the fancy clothes, the jewelry, her family had more important things to provide for. The hatred of her own life started brewing. She was ashamed of being a mutant, and spent long amounts of her time trying to hide her Red Fox features. Her resentment of humans grew, convinced that all humans were the same. During this stretch of time, she was deprived of social interaction and tried to better concentrate in her studies and forget about everything. She learned that the only people you could depend on was family; her hope in the world rapidly fading as each day passed.
Her parents had no idea of this happening because they were still too busy working, trying to provide. It was only her older brother that gave her comfort and the motivation she needed to return to school each day. Her older brother was the one that kept her going to school; reminding her that education was important and she needed one. That is, until, her brother got involved with the wrong crowd of people at school. His grades dropped, and when he finally realized what went wrong, it was too late and he had lost faith in himself; ruining his chance for a bright future. That day was the first time Rosabella saw her older brother cry. She was crushed; if someone who was always so strong around her couldn’t stay that way, how could she keep going? Her brother dropped out of high school and started working; if he couldn’t go to college, he wanted to make sure his sister and younger brother would have the opportunity he didn’t. Harris wanted a future for his sister and younger brother that he couldn’t have.
And finally, Rosabella began to break. She was under immense pressure all the time, pouring over books and trying to stay with her classwork. She needed to make it to college since her brother couldn’t; she would be the first person to go to college in her family. The bullying hasn’t stopped either. Fight after fight, each one more violent than the next, until she got kicked out of countless and transferred to schools. Day after day, she would walk home with bruises. Too tired of the situation, she gave up and became homeschooled. She couldn’t take it anymore. Rosabella was at wits end when her younger brother became bullied too, and she didn’t want him to end up like her; angry and regretful. She swore to protect her younger brother, Lawson, like her older brother had for her. Her shell had harden. After those years, she had enough. She had altogether stopped crying because she knew that didn’t fix anything. Rosabella didn’t always know she was a mutant, she didn’t always suspect how this world she lived in could be so cruel to her, how it could crush her dreams under their palm if it wanted to. She changed her name too when she introduced herself; sweet Rosabella was long gone. Gone was the toothless singer with a smile so wide it seems permanent. Her name would die with her past self and identity. After that, she would simply introduce herself to others with her last name, ‘Wellborne’.
As she grew older, the difference between mutants and humans became more and more noticeable to her. Equal rights- that’s what it stated all across the newspapers that had read about humans and mutants. However, she still felt this wasn’t true. This caused her to be a large advocate of equal rights. Even though she still loved her family, she grew spiteful at how they commanded her to keep quiet, to do what she was assigned as that was the only way to avoid trouble. She needed out. Rosabella had been kept quiet for too long and never wanted to experience that and be walked all over by humans again. Even though she knew her parents only had her best intentions at heart, she was bitter.
More stressed out each day, she decided to turn her attention towards what she thought she did best: art. Her best subject in school was always art; art was a controlled but wild way of expression that she loved. She would implant messages into her art, her way of letting loose her anger and turning it into something beautiful. It was her way of managing her emotions. As she strolled through her neighborhood one day, her eyes caught on the graffiti art on the sides of the buildings, people frantically trying to scrub it off. An idea occurred to her; she decided to try her hand at graffiti art, this was a way of expressing her opinions anonymously with the style she loved. Everyone would pay attention to her then; no one would be able to avoid her thoughts. Starting small, she practiced whenever she could. Her artwork depicted images of mutants and humans, the situation in the real world, and her views of important matters. To hide her identity and make sure she wasn’t going to be in trouble with the law, she came up with a code name for herself. At the bottom of her graffiti art, she would sign it.
She has never been caught before, although she has been close to being discovered. Careful and cautious, she makes sure that no one knows. Rosabella felt terrible for lying to her family about this, but her cover up was always that she was ‘studying’. She doesn’t want to drag her family into this mess and for them to pay for her consequences. She doesn’t like hiding what she does, but with her family at stake, she needed to ensure their security. As her artwork became more well known, she was hired anonymously by many people; and has managed to anger some important people by spray painting their business buildings. Although this new art form of hers originally was intended to release her anger, soon, she began to realize the beauty of it and fell in love with it. It turned into a hobby for her. Through this, she began to accept herself the way she was. And slowly, gradually, she became proud to be a fox. She didn’t like herself before, but realized she shouldn’t be ashamed.
When she grudgingly agreed to come back to school for her last senior year, her parents wanted her to have a chance to relax and sent her on the cruise.
