Prequel : The Hunt

" Hundred of years of peace crushed when Mutants (Humans who are Part Animal) start believing they were better. Creating a civil war, in which Humans won. Now, no peace exists between the humans and mutants. The humans roundup mutants, shove them in a dome, and hunt to the death. They are animals." - Adoree’s and My RP from like two years ago.

2315 : Mutant Slavery is Abolished
2327 : Mutant’s now have the same rights as humans
2370 : Mutant Segregation is now Ablished
2424 : Mutant Discrimination is Illegal
2425 : Mutant and Human Marriage now Legal

It’s December 2440, hundred of years before the hunt. You are the first generation with actual 100% rights - but not everyone is with the times. Just because they are on paper doesn’t mean it’s always true.

This RP will take place on a school senior week long vacation. (Cruise!) Everyone is required to make 2 characters, one mutant and one human, one male and one female.
Mutants are humans with some animal features like if you were a cat you might have a tail and or cat ears. If you were a fish, you might have gills and great swimming ability.

  1. v
  2. Your mutant character CANNOT be rich, sorry! The division may be gone, but your mutant discrimination still exists.

Name:
Hachirou Shimizu

Sexuality:
Demisexual, Panromantic

Personality:
At first glance, you could say Hachirou is a snob who would rather keep his nose between the pages of a dictionary rather than talk to anyone near him. He is not one to hide his discomfort whenever someone approaches him, and he would rather spend his time in an isolated cave than socialise and talk about trivial things with some stranger. His short replies, eventual sarcastic comments and cold gaze when interacting with someone he doesn’t want to talk to makes that clear to anyone. However, he would much rather see himself as a guy who has criteria in the people he hangs out with instead of a snob, or a prudish guy who avoids people just to seem interesting. In fact, he sees himself as a guy who knows what he wants and works to achieve his goals, someone who knows what is important in his life and who wants to get the most of it, having known that his life span is not as long as humans’ he has decided to make himself memorable and achieve as many great things as he can. He knows he is not the best mutant out there, but he strives to be, and nothing will deviate him from his goal, and he will first prove it be excelling in academics, even if his social life dies because of it.

What people don’t seem to understand is that while Hachirou is indeed a quite proud and very critical person, it is not that hard to have a conversation with him, but he would rather have it this way. He may not show it a lot but Hachirou is quite vain, and there’s something about having people see him as an unreachable intellectual that fuels him. However, the only condition he has to engage in a conversation is for it to have an interesting topic, and he finds many topics to be very interesting. It only takes someone to mention any of the subjects he is interested in for him to begin rambling about it, and his excitement will be clear in his eyes and the sudden change of his behaviour. Once any topic of his interest is mentioned, anyone can see the aloof and uninterested façade leave to be replaced with wide, curious eyes and a hint of a smile, listening intently and waiting for his turn to say something, even if he is not exactly part of the conversation.

One of the things that interest him the most are humans. Humans, the creatures who had once hunt them down and enslaved them, the creatures that mutants had believed to be inferior to them once upon a time. Human lives are fascinating to him. The wholeness of humans intrigues him, and he always tries to understand what is human. As a mutant, he has tried to find what exactly was human in him, and what was octopus, or if he was something else entirely, but that has proved to be one of the hardest tasks for him. For that same reason it is also one of the tasks he puts the most effort in. Whenever he gets the chance, he pays close attention to humans and their differences from mutants, and he tends to write it all down in a notebook, along with all the things he finds interesting.
There are many areas that interest him, but languages and psychology are the ones he likes the most, it always amazes him how well they apply to both humans and mutants, and how they can show a lot of similarities between the two, but also show what makes each creature special. Aside from this, Hachirou has a great interest in physics and philosophy, and he uses this subjects to help him understand the world and to guide him through life.

If one were to describe his mood, strangers would say he’s aloof and unemotional, focusing solely on academics and often retreating to his own little world. But even though he may seem that way with his usually silent nature and what some people would define as a contemplative state, if one were to get to know him better, they would find him to be a greatly emotional guy, passionate and deep, and always thinking about the creatures and the world surrounding him.

Still, getting to know that side of him may be hard for some, mostly because he prefers to stay away from social interaction and basic small talk, but also because, whenever he gets hooked into a conversation, he will still act with poise and at least some stiffness, that is, until he gets to trust the person he’s speaking to. Once he comes to a certain degree of trust, he will not be afraid to show that he is not that different from most teenagers, he’ll relax and maybe even make some jokes beside sarcastic comments.

Aside from his intellect, Hachirou prides himself in his ability, he is quite flexible and, as an octopode, he is quite skilled at swimming and at solving puzzles, be it on paper or around him, it is rather strange to find him in a situation he can’t get out of. He has grown to be a very self reliant guy, and while he usually manages to do whatever he makes up his mind to by himself, he will struggle to ask for help, and would rather take a longer time figuring things out by himself than depending on someone. The fact that he is a clumsy guy when he’s on land is quite strange for anyone who knows how octopodes are, and for that reason Hachirou tries to hide his clumsiness, but it’s usually to no avail. His tentacles will often get the best of him and he will end up causing a mess he didn’t mean to. Even then, Hachirou is a very goal-driven and determined guy and he doesn’t let anything stop him from getting what he wants. As he wants to be the best, he won’t stop until he’s the top of his class and gets the praise he believes to deserve.

Biography:
Being a cecaelia meant for Hachirou that his mother died a few months after he and his twelve siblings were born, leaving the babies alone with only their father to take care of them. But just as most octopodes, his father was a very distant man and did his best to teach his children how to survive by themselves, which mostly meant that he didn’t pay close attention to the young mutants and often left them for extended periods of time. Most of his siblings seemed to be alright with that, but one of her sisters, Manami, always stood by Hachirou’s side.

They became best friends, doing everything together and helping each other through every situation. It was Manami who helped him move on from their father’s dead when they were ten years old. And it was her who taught him how to care about other people. But things never stay the same. And as they grew up, Hachirou and Manami got to witness how their interests drew them away from each other.
Even though most of Hachirou’s childhood was spent in caves under the sea, he always showed an special interest of what was over the surface, and what kind of creatures lived there. Despite his shy nature he was always very attentive about the different creatures that surrounded him, and he soon began to pick up the differences between animals and mutants, but that wasn’t enough for him, he wanted to know about all the creatures in the world, not only the ones in the sea, and that lead him to drag his sister to the surface quite often. At first she didn’t have any complaints about it, but when he began collecting different things he found in the surface, she began to fear that her best friend would leave him.

Manami tried to get an interest in his activities, and often went helped him gather information about the creatures on the surface, but she just wasn’t into that kind of thing. She preferred being under the surface, away from everyone while she learnt about the fantasy worlds she could find in her books. In turn, Hachirou tried to join his sister when reading, and even though he enjoyed travelling with his mind, he could only have so much of it, and he often wished to go and find the adventures those books talked about. You can only imagine the disappointment he felt when he discovered most of the things in those books were not quite real, and that he couldn’t really experience them.

Because of that he decided to stay away from books, at least for a while, and from ages twelve to fifteen, he would much rather explore on his own than stay with his sister reading lies. During those years, the siblings grew apart, and even though Hachirou never stopped caring for Manami, they began building lives on their own, embracing their octopus nature and the solitude that came with it. That’s how, for years, Hachirou lived on his own, exploring all the places he could and learning about the subjects he was interested in.

When he was old enough, he decided to enroll in a school for both humans and mutants, ready to learn all he could about this mysterious race that was so similar, yet so different to his. He tried to get Manami to enroll with him in an attempt of reconnecting with her in a place that would hold both if their interests, but to no avail, she refused to leave her home under the sea, and Hachirou knew better than to force her into the experience of living among humans.

His first year was very lonely, and he almost decided to drop out and enroll in his sister’s school, but his determination didn’t let him do that, and one particular weekend he decided to go to his sister with his dilemma. Knowing him better than anyone, Manami gave him the first book they read together as children as a way to keep him company, and it’s through books that he has found the perfect company for his stay at his school. He has had some chances to socialise and make friends, but he refuses to let anyone take the place of his sister and her books, and as time passed, his drive to be the best has made him slowly forget about how to interact with others.

Name
Emric Bathory

Sexuality
Demihomosexual/Demihomoromantic

Personality
One does not even have to converse with Emric to conclude that he is a rather cold and unwelcoming boy who can be difficult to tolerate or even converse with due to him being a man of few words. His rude demeanor, along with his blunt and cynical nature can prove to be far more unbearable than one expects, however to those few who are forced to put up with him, this does not come off as a surprise. Of course, it doesn’t make much sense why one would even bother to attempt approaching him for he is often seen frowning, whether he’s scribbling away in his journal or simply flicking through the pages of a new book. His introverted nature also means he is someone who lacks some serious social skills which he could not care less about but his intellect is most certainly one which is difficult to rival. He is somewhat snobby as he openly looks down on those who he deems stupid or foolish and refuses to associate with them, whether they’re a human or a mutant. On the other hand, to those who appear to have a functioning brain in Emric’s eyes may find themselves potentially becoming one of his friends. However, this has been proven to be a very rare occurrence as Emric is known to be a person who prides himself in his vast knowledge of various aspects.

In the past, only other way Emric was able warm up to someone would be if they had played a role in his life which happened to be significant and positive enough for him to form an emotional bond with them but even he acknowledges that the chances of this occurring are very slim due to him often having far more enemies or rivals than friends, even since he was young. Perhaps if something similar were to occur in the present, his icy attitude could potentially but slowly melt away but with Emric Bathory, one can never be certain.

Emric also frequently comes off as a very dull and boring person himself as he has a habit of going on about topics which would seemingly put most people to sleep. This is one of his favourite strategies to put off others as it usually produces instant effects but if it does not work, he may just mentally applaud whoever sticks around after before using another tactic. Another trait of Emric’s which seems to irritate most, is his blunt yet nonchalant responses to most situations or conversations due to him never attempting to hide his disinterest in various things. His insensitivity can often make others feel worse than they already do, due to him not preferring to listen to his mind over his heart most of the time but also because of the lack of affection he received as a child, making it difficult for him to be affectionate with others. However, should anyone be in need of any advice that requires one to solely use their brain, then Emric is one of the best options for them.

Even though Emric plays the part of an emotionless robot well most of the time, one thing he can almost never hide is his curiosity or intrigue when he comes across something which he deems fascinating and it is usually then that his strongest emotions such as determination and passion, comes to light. Perhaps this is because it is Emric’s curiosity is one of the major factors which drives his undying love for learning or simply knowing but it is his determination which keeps him going. Though not many may realise it, rather than being someone who cannot feel any emotion, Emric is a person who has a high level of control over his emotions as all members of his family has always been warned that they must learn to control their emotions or else their emotions will control them.

He is perhaps more easily annoyed or disgusted than angered in almost every situation and he will try to end the conversation with that person [or mutant] as quickly as possible, only to forget who they are until he is forced to interact with them again. Emric tends to become angry when someone attempts to threaten him and though he isn’t one for physical fights, he does not accept being walked over. Though he does not hold many grudges, it would not be wise for one to make an enemy out of Emric because even though he may not be physically strong in comparison to many others, he knows how to utilise his mind as a weapon.

Despite being a know-it-all, Emric isn’t very knowledgeable when it comes to relationships, whether may be platonic or romantic and can be annoyingly oblivious in such situations but will most likely be fiercely loyal to those are daring enough to attempt to earn his trust or allegiance. Emric’s independence and confidence in his own abilities also means that he has adapted to doing nearly everything on his own from a young age and explains why he has difficulty taking orders from others or even working in a team. Though his collaboration skills are also lacking, Emric has a strong belief in the idea that even though no amount of practice makes perfect, anyone can do anything when they set their mind to it so if he were motivated enough, he may just attempt to put in more effort when it comes to certain situations.

Name
Laelia Delaine

Sexuality
Homosexual

Personality
-editing-

It’s no surprise that with only one glance, almost anyone seems to be able to easily deduce that Laelia is a carefree free-spirit who always seems to be full of energy. This may or may not be due to her extroverted nature, paired with her lightheartedness which allows her to be herself. Of course, her habit of instinctively engaging with others, strangers or close friends, means that she’s definitely no stranger to her peers. It can be rather difficult to bring down someone like Laelia for she often has high hopes and attempts to remain as positive as she can in every situation, even though everyone else around her may not display similar approaches. Since she is a rather open person, Laelia doesn’t hesitate to express how warm and caring she can be by always making time for others whether it’s to sit down and have a serious heart to heart or to simply make some small talk.

Unfortunately, Laelia’s cheerful personality and expressiveness may not be seen in a positive light in everyone’s eyes as it may become too overwhelming for them. Despite how open-minded she can be, her inability to fully comprehend why others are unable to view things from her perspective can lead to some friction between herself and them. However, this may not necessarily be the other party’s fault for though it is unintentional, Laelia has a habit of being rather perplexing. This is possibly because her over-imaginative mind is always overflowing with so many insane ideas that she simply never has the time to stop and clearly get her message across, often leading to others constantly misinterpreting her. Though if anyone is creative enough to correctly interpret Laelia’s ideas, they better be ready for one hell of a ride for the chances of them escaping her wild imagination are very slim. Even though she may not know the other person very well, she tends to be very talkative which often leads to the other party not being able to say much. And despite the fact that she can come off as a little crazy, Laelia’s intuitiveness allows see her to view life through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism and therefore search for the deeper meanings which many others tend to miss.

Name
Odin Rendahl

Sexuality
Bicurious

Personality
Odin is a recluse, often sticking his nose in a book rather than talking to people, and while he doesn’t mind having a conversation with people, he would very much prefer if he was left alone. Due to his disinterest with interacting with other people, however, he doesn’t speak much, and anytime someone does try to strike up a conversation with him, it may take him a while to focus on the conversation rather than his research and books.

Due to his relatively friendless background, he doesn’t feel the need to have any kind of company around him, and he has a tendency to bury his mind in his research. Because of this, he has a rather unhealthy habit of overworking himself, and while that’s never been a real problem for him in the past, it becomes a problem when he needs to think about something other than his work. However, he’s grown used to the fact that his research is the only thing he may ever be useful for, and something he needs to set his mind to.

He is a blunt individual and someone who may take things at face value. As a person who follows logic almost at all times, he is more likely to listen to facts and less likely anyone else’s opinions, unless those opinions are useful to him in some way. As a result, it’s hard for him to be fully convinced, or even impressed, by other people, and it takes him a while to believe something unless he sees it firsthand.

TBA

Biography
For all his life, Odin was surrounded by research, books, and more research, although that could have came from the fact that his parents were scientists. But even as a young child, Odin already knew he wanted to follow his parents’ footsteps, and he often found himself reading the research his parents came up with, despite having no idea what they meant at all. Regardless, he was an avid learner, and over time, he managed to understand the full extent of his family’s research.

Since his parents specialized in biology, Odin learned a lot from them, especially with things on the subject of mutants and animals. He was easily fascinated with the topic, and he eventually grew to believe that mutants were a great factor to a better future, and that their potential was downplayed by humans. However, he would usually keep his opinions as a secret, since he and his parents prefer to be on the neutral side of the feud between mutants and humans, despite being a human himself.

Even then, he was always interested on the concept of mutants. ‘How did they come to existence?’ ‘Was it a genetic mutation?’ ‘Could it have been a scientific experiment gone wrong hundreds of years ago?’ He wanted to answer all these questions, and since then, he was determined to get through his research on the development of mutants, their characteristics, and quite possibly their purpose of existing.

This made him the odd one out of the human students in his school, and while they occasionally teased him for his ‘obsession’ with mutants, he never paid mind to it. It wasn’t a big issue for him either, since he didn’t have a desire to have any real friends. His books and papers were all the things he needed to keep himself company.

He never minded the presence of humans or mutants, though it might also come from the fact that he is indifferent with everything that’s going on. He never felt the need to conform to one side, because he felt like there was no point in doing so, when all it did was cause more conflict and tension. And while he would encourage people from focusing on the future and the opportunities that mutants bring with it, he ultimately knew he would never be heard, when other more vocal voices drown his opinion.

This was proven when his parents previously attempted to raise awareness of this fact when Odin was only a child. As expected, his parents gained backlash from saying so, and even when there were a number of people who supported mutants who, in turn, supported his parents, they could never convince the more stubborn people, and eventually, it was up to them to try to bring in more facts to prove their point.

So instead, he tries to perform his own research about mutants, and using his knowledge on animals, and other fields of science to try to make small steps to make that future happen. Even if he did do it on his own, with only his parents’ occasional help, he knew it made a small difference, and that’s what mattered to him, at least.

Name
Alverna Ramond

Sexuality
Asexual/Homoromantic

Personality
At first glance, Alverna could be a bit of a daydreamer, constantly observing her surroundings, despite not being able to see, while not paying much mind to anything else that isn’t interesting to her. It’s gotten to the point that analyzing others has become a habit for her, and it isn’t rare for her to overthink and veer off from her original train of thought by having thoughts that may or may not be related to what she could be previously thinking.

She is a curious individual, often seeking for new knowledge, or an experience worth remembering. It’s not easy for her to refrain from asking questions, and there are times when her curiosity gets the better of her and lands her in trouble instead. As she grew up, she eventually learned when to rely on her curiosity and when it’s a bad time to act upon it, as well as controlling any impulses.

A reserved and quiet girl, Alverna gives off a somewhat mysterious and calm vibe. When conversing with others, she keeps a polite yet somehow carefree and relaxed mannerism, though she usually stays quiet to listen attentively to another person speak, so as to not draw too much attention to herself. While not exactly a stoic person, she also has a tendency to mask her own feelings in an attempt to prevent herself from accidentally influencing others with her own emotions, as she believes it’s important for her to hear someone who speaks their true opinions rather than hearing someone who tries to follow her ideals.

However, when she grows to trust someone, it’s easy for them to see that she can be rather awkward, though she tries to hide it with a witty and quirky demeanor, and on some occasions, she can’t help but ramble on about a specific topic she may be discussing with someone else. Though there are other times when she may rely too much on her thoughts, and as a result, she may either go completely off-topic in the middle of a conversation, or simply stop mid-sentence to think about something further.

Ever since the news of her brother being taken away, she tries to be more cautious with others, and she can’t help but be on guard with humans, who may be the prime suspect to her brother’s disappearance. Nevertheless, she tries to keep up the same polite attitude with everyone, though when discussing personal matters, she tends to dodge the subject or find a way to veer off from the topic altogether.

However, Alverna does have a small sense of superiority, and while it’s not too big, it’s resulted in her believing that other people may have a hard time understanding the things she easily comprehends. As a result, she tries to be independent from others, and the thought of having to work with other people easily gets her uncomfortable. She also becomes easily annoyed when people treat her differently from others because of her mutant status, and her blindness, and because of this, she grew to dislike it when people offer her help, regardless of their intentions.

Biography
Alverna lived on the edge of a forest with her parents and her younger brother, where she was able to meet and befriend other mutants. Due to the space and the forest beyond being wide, she often had flying sessions and she was able to explore the outdoors for herself and be exposed to nature and what it had to offer.

As a child, Alverna was eager to learn more about the world, and other mutants and humans. Being blind, she felt special in a way, since she was different from other people. She never lamented her lack of sight since she was able to use her other senses to interact with her environment, and because she was perfectly content with what she had right now. Despite this, she would sometimes feel lonely, since she knows nearly nobody can know or have already experienced her way of perceiving the world.

She had a decent relationship with her parents, since they were supportive of her, and they never treated her any different for her blindness. However, she still felt a certain distance towards them, since she spent most of her time outside her home, and she felt that they were closer to her brother. Despite this, she didn’t dislike her brother anymore for that, and they had a close relationship. He was one of the only people, other than her parents, who didn’t judge or tease her for her blindness, and he was always there to listen whenever she wanted to talk about her latest discoveries out in the wilds.

Since she lived near human civilization, she was able to talk to some of the humans there, although most of them acted suspicious around her for being a mutant. She managed to become acquaintances with some of the nicer people, but there were others who immediately didn’t trust her. Because of this, she decided that it would be best for her to act as diplomatic as she could, so she could show the humans that mutants weren’t harmful.

Her perception of humans almost changed the day her brother suddenly disappeared, however. His departure left the entire family devastated, since there wasn’t anything left behind for them to be able to follow him. Her parents already suspected the humans for being responsible of his disappearance, although those suspicions were never confirmed.

For a while, she dedicated herself to find him, looking through any evidence and asking others where he may have gone to, but she was never successful. The humans were rather defensive when she asked about her brother, and some of them were quick to criticize her brother for getting lost so easily. Regardless, she never stopped searching, and it quickly became an unhealthy habit for her to look for any signs of him, and it took her neighbouring mutants and her parents to tell her to stop.

Since then, she decided to focus on other priorities, such as school, though every once in a while, she can’t help but wonder where her brother could have went. Even her school didn’t help much with the incident, and simply passed it off as something irrelevant to them. With that, Alverna decided it would be best to completely drop the subject and prevent herself from mentioning her brother at all.

Name
Elroi Kiyomizu

Sexuality
Demisexual/Panromantic

Personality
TBA

Biography
Elroi, being one of the many out of five children, didn’t have an idea of what it felt like to be alone. While his older siblings were set up to be the ‘responsible’ ones for everyone else, the chaos of so many children in the household seemed to be too much for anyone to take care of. However, in the case of his parents, they knew perfectly well what they were heading into and took care of their children to the best of their abilities. Due to the number of kids, however, there was always bound to be one or more of them who would be the ‘loner’ of the family, and Elroi could very well be described as the one in his family. Contrary to what people are led to believe by this fact, however, Elroi didn’t feel any animosity towards his siblings or his parents, nor was he completely alone. He would still get on with his younger siblings’ antics, and look up to his older siblings’ actions and words, though he also knew he couldn’t completely fit in both those worlds. Due to this, he resorted to taking up his own hobbies, and on his journey to self-discovery, he found a liking to music, as it always found a way to calm his nerves down. He grew to play the flute more than any other instrument, and he always loved to listen to the soft, airy sounds from the instrument. However, he also became insecure of his talent when he discovered the gender stereotypes concerning certain instruments, and since then, he tries to keep his flute playing somewhat vague, or otherwise downplay it.

He quickly grew to understand the discrimination between mutants and humans, though it wasn’t until when he was older that he managed to see it happen for himself. In his early school years, it was a surprisingly common sight to see mutants being bullied by humans who thought themselves as superior to them. However, Elroi was especially susceptible to the bullying, as he was one of the more small and harmless mutants who didn’t have anything to fight back. It didn’t help that he would also be occasionally picked on by the ‘predator’ mutants who believed he was weak for being unable to defend himself.

One day, the bullying grew to be too much for him that he managed to snap back at the people bullying him, and told them off so they could finally leave him alone. Since then, Elroi grew to distance himself from almost everyone, and learned how to refrain himself from either being too affected or accidentally going off the rails when the bullying got too far, and instead, he resorted to spending his time alone. On occasions, he would try to open up and befriend some of the mutants he considered friendly enough, but for the most part, he would usually be found on his own, practicing his music.

Name
Calanthe Nordell

Sexuality
Bisexual

Personality
Calanthe is a bit of an oddball, acting like an excitable little child at times when she seems something interesting, and overall appearing overly optimistic,. Her cheery attitude can either put people at ease or have the opposite effect in that they will be more uncomfortable by how rarely she seems to frown. She also tends to be a bit of a silly, and even mischievous individual, often teasing other people just so she can see their reactions, or at other times, making jokes to get people to laugh, or cringe, so she can laugh at their reactions.

Aside from these eccentric qualities of hers, she does try to be a genuinely good person and act kind towards others. She has a friendly aura around her, although that can be explained by her constant smiling, and she does try to see the best in people. However, this can result in her being quite gullible, and otherwise naive, though that fact has never seriously bothered her before.

Other times, she’s still her usual cheerful self, though it’s a surprisingly more downplayed version of it. While she is still willing to wear a smile, she’ll act more firm and brave and even blunt at times. When push comes to shove, she is capable of telling people off and even acting relatively serious.

It’s more confusing when she quickly changes from different aspects of her personality. There are times when she can stay cheerful for a minute, mischievous the next, and finally calm the very next one. Then the cycle repeats on itself. As a result, she can be quite unpredictable, though as she spends more time with a specific person, she usually tries to stick to one part of her personality when around them.

Name (First & Last) :
Conall Springer

Sexuality :
Pansexual/Panromantic

Personality :
Unforgettable. Anyone who has ever met Conall, or merely just caught a glimpse of him will agree that ‘unforgettable’ is the word that describes him perfectly. Spotting him in a crowd is an simple task- he’ll be the one at the center of a group, head tilted slightly backwards in careless laughter, gesturing with one hand while holding a drink and casually sipping it with the other. Making friends is a natural process to him because of his obvious love for social interaction, and his extroverted nature. The prospect of meeting new people was always viewed as something special to him, possibly the start of a new, lifelong friendship. If others are too timid to approach him, he will introduce himself to them with a warm smile first. Conall isn’t picky about who he converses with; he isn’t bothered by either human or mutant (although mutants are a bit unsettling to him). People typically find it easy to talk to him because he’s always lending an ear to listen, and his relaxing presence lulls others into security to talk about matters they won’t normally discuss, making him an ideal choice for a conversation partner.

Conall doesn’t wait for life to be offered to him on a silver platter; he chases it, and won’t be satisfied until he has caught it and runs with it. As an avid entertainer, his energy and enthusiasm is undeniable, and Conall loves to put on a performance. The shining star taking center stage- that’s him, and Conall enjoys the attention although it can get to his head at times. You can find him dancing out of nowhere with a spark of joy in his eyes, trying to make others laugh; either at him or with him, he doesn’t care. All he wants to do is to brighten someone’s day. Others sometimes perceives him as ‘foolish’ because of this.

Conall is open minded to the unpredictable. He will drag others out of their comfort zone to join him in new adventures, ready to drop everything in just a moment’s notice. When he’s up to something bold, a spontaneous light gleams dangerously in his eyes, and his lips curl up in a daring smirk. Traveling is always on his mind; he finds it difficult to stay still, and hates being trapped. A successful event to him is when all of his guests enjoys themselves, and his fun spirit almost always ensures this.

With a wild, high pitched shriek at every insignificant thing that disgusts him, Conall is able to make a mountain out of an anthill very quickly. People describe his movements as ‘animated’. Conall likes to think of himself as ‘original’ or ‘individualistic’. One thing’s for certain- he definitely doesn’t fit in with the crowd. His motivation make him stick out as clear as day. The optimistic outlook he has on life allows him to rise above any occasion, no matter how impossible it seems. His clothing ‘style’ doesn’t allow him to blend in either. His outfit is either a genius fashion choice… or a cringy mistake. Typically a cringy mistake. Even though he likes to believe that he’s stylish, many may beg to differ. His “Go big or go home” ‘fashion’ attitude causes people to cringe slightly and nod nervously at his outfit choices, whereas only the bravest have the heart to point out how nothing he wears really fits together when he seems so excited. His clothes are a form of self expression he loves and utilizes every day. The amount of his time and effort dedicated to making sure he looks the best can make him be regarded to as vain.

Embarrassment doesn’t exist in Conall’s world. He’s not self-conscious by anything he’s done, and he feels completely comfortable with who he is.- and it shows. His natural confidence in himself shoves asides any insecurities. Blushing or being flustered by any of his past experiences is very uncommon for him. Because of this, he usually teases and reminds others of their embarrassing experiences, knowing that they can’t use the same trick on him. Others’ judgement holds no value over him; he knows he doesn’t need to justify his actions to others and will continue on with what he’s doing shamelessly. Conall will dismiss the negative comments and will continue to be positive. Even though he does seem like a doormat sometimes because how willingly he is to help others, he is not afraid to stand up for himself when it calls for those times. He accepts compliments with ease, even if it’s thick with sarcasm (which he doesn’t understand).

If you ever land yourself in a conversation with Conall, prepare to clear hours of time off of your schedule. Once stuck with him, plan for a whirlwind of topics, and certainly, a fun time. His rapid pace of speech and his exaggerated hand gestures paired with his over-the-top act can enchant everyone to stop what they’re doing and listen to him. Don’t count on even one moment of complete silence during a conversation- He will continue prattling until he runs out of things to say. This chattersome nature of his can lead to disaster, as he rarely is able to keep a secret, or quiet too, for that matter. His eagerness to hear others opinions may be the reason why he works so well in a team. Conall’s curiosity leads him to poke and prod in unwanted places; there’s been way too many times where he has eavesdropped in on a conversation and ‘invited’ himself into it midway. You can rarely get any piece of gossip past him. Although Conall doesn’t mean to often, a conversation is usually focused on him. This can cause him to become self centered and brag quite often.

It’s expected that he may make some insensitive ‘jokes’ because he blurts without thinking through with what he’s saying. Conall prefers to keep neutral in arguments and not take sides unless needed because he doesn’t want any enemies. Over the years, his skin has grown thicker and he’s able to brush off mean comments like they don’t affect him as all. If anyone insults him or someone he loves, he will be sure to retort back. Conall loves one-upping others and proving them wrong, using others’ backlash to improve himself. His response to fear is always fight first, flee next. He doesn’t like physical combat though; he was never trained so he’s not physically capable to fight, rendering him useless then. Peace to him is preferred over war. In the rare moments when he is angry, it’s strongly advised not to talk to him. His still, tense, and quiet demeanor when furious frightens many.

When people hear him continuously talk so much about himself, some assume he’s shallow. He can come off as annoying or clingy at times, but the people who truly know him describes him as ‘endearing in his own infuriating way.’ Yes, he may not be the smartest person ever, yes, he may be dense at times, yes, he may be a complete and utter moron sometimes, but he accepts himself the way he is.

As a naturally empathetic person, his emotions shift depending on the mood and atmosphere around him. He’s observant to others emotions, and is an expert on cheering others up and lifting their spirits. When someone seems gloomy to him, he will continuously ask the person, “Are you okay?” Most people brighten easily and find it difficult for the frown to still stay on their face when they sense his upbeat spirit. Conall is always willing to lend a helping hand and give advice. Just as he isn’t afraid of other’s emotions, he doesn’t shy away from his own either. Conall accepts that he has to ask for help sometimes. Generosity comes easily to him. He will give and give until he doesn’t have anything left; volunteer to help simply because he wants to be kind and enjoys the feeling of pure joy, not expecting a favor back.

Laid back and relaxed- that’s Conall. Instead of running on a tight, fixed schedule, he goes with the flow. Pshhh… worry about the future? No, he’d rather not have any long term goals and just have simple, short term goals. Plan B? He has no time for that!- Or a Plan A for a matter of fact. He flies through life and never has a solid idea what he’s doing exactly. Commitment is not his strong suit; Conall will only dedicate himself to someone or something when his mind is made up and he is absolutely certain. Until then though, he is very indecisive. Carefree and reckless, he wishes to be independent and released of all judgment. Conall doesn’t like it when others tell him to speed up or slow down; he will move at his own pace, whether others like it or not. As an improviser, he is normally a very confident person until he has a script in front of him and begins to overthink, therefore, becoming nervous.

Biography :
Conall’s birth was unplanned. His parents were not yet married when the doctor informed them that his mom was pregnant. When they heard the news, his mom was alarmed. Both of them were just fresh out of college, in serious debt, had minimum wage jobs, and lived in a rented apartment- how could they afford to feed another mouth? With this is mind, his mom wanted an abortion. However his dad insisted on keeping their child. They quarreled day after day about this decision; this was the first red flag that the pair wasn’t going to stay together for long. However, they both ignored the obvious warning signs and paid no heed. They had fallen too quickly in love, and believed that everything would improve from that point on only if they stuck together. After much thought, they settled on keeping the child.

Traces of Conall’s tireless spirit was already noticeable in the following months after his birth. He was a joyful child; the type that insisted on his parents’ undivided attention around the clock and woke them up several times during the night. His mom had always had an interest in starting a restaurant, and so, his parents decided to invest in one to raise their income to support this newborn and giving him a bright future. His parents would go to work each day bleary eyed from the restless night before. When his parents were at work, Conall was passed around from one family member to another to be taken care of. As their restaurant thrived, Conall’s parents were able to afford actual babysitters for him instead of asking their relatives.

It wasn’t until he entered preschool that he first noticed the strange species adults around him called ‘mutants’, He didn’t know the proper name of them at only four years old, but he did detect the obvious differences. His curiosity had already taken grasp of him at that time, and at school, he would ask random questions to the mutants he saw, unaware of how insensitive some of his questions could be. As he grew older, his interest in them deepened, and he would blurt out random questions whenever one would come into mind.

Conall was never the smartest child in class, falling into the ‘average’ range. Although, if he had to be honest with himself, the reason why his grades were always mediocre was because he never pushed himself in terms of school. He was too busy socializing, too busy spending time with friends, and strengthening relationships. He never cared too much about grades either; he didn’t have plans for any job that required straight A’s. However, Conall still did maintain his grades as he wouldn’t have been allowed to participate in his extra after school activities if he didn’t.

As he entered middle school, his eyes began opening to new perspectives that he had been blind by previously. These were the years when his parents’ arguments threatened to tear apart this family. Sure, there was the occasional bickering here and there between his parents, but he never realized how much had been happening behind the scenes, during the time he wasn’t there. The disputes were mainly about how controlling his mom was, and how his dad was ‘lazy’. A few of their fights were about mutants too; his mom firmly believing that mutants only brought trouble, he shouldn’t be friends with them, and they shouldn’t be hired for their restaurant. Meanwhile, his dad thought that mutants benefited the society and the complete opposite of his mom’s beliefs. This led to Conall losing his mutant friends and being unsure of his stance around mutants. Conall often felt like he was forced to pick sides between his mom and his dad. Almost every day started with a squabble from his parents, and Conall would arrive at school everyday with no motivation to learn anything. School was his safe haven away from his troubles, and he joined as much activities as he could to avoid his parents. His teachers were concerned, and when they asked him if anything was wrong, he lied. He had no intention of mixing his social life at school with the stress at home.

While all of the arguments were happening, the pair had still not married yet because they had wanted to continue to save up for a large, extravagant, wedding. Even after all of these fights, his parents still clung onto the hope that once they were officially married, all of their problems would be solved. And so, when Conall was in eighth grade, his parents got married. Contrary to what his parents believed in, their marriage didn’t strengthen their relationship at all. If anything, it weakened it. They were constantly stuck together, their beliefs clashing and neither could begin a conversation without the other viewing it the wrong way. Even still, they stayed together with the hope that everything would be better one day. No one outside of the family knew the troubles that laid within; they needed to maintain their perfect family image to customers, teachers, and friends.

As hard as the pair tried, when Conall was a sophomore in high school, they filed for a divorce. Their divorce process was a messy one. It was settled that his mom would keep the house, the restaurant, and that Conall would stay with his mom in the city he’s lived in his whole life. Meanwhile, his dad took this as an opportunity to return back to his to original family and find a steady job there. Even with his dad in another state, Conall still remained in close contact with him, calling and texting him every day. They weren’t as close as before, but his dad was still part of his life. Life returned to as ‘normal’ as it could be for him, moving on. His mom met someone new and married again, the man becoming his step-dad. He was never very close to his step-dad, but Conall just tolerated him.

When he heard about the opportunity to go on the cruise, he grasp it without hesitating. This was his chance to get away from his troubles, relax, and make new friendships.

Name (First & Last) :
Rosabella Wellbourne

Sexuality :
Demisexual/Panromantic

Personality :

Rosabella Wellbourne isn’t exactly an open book, but she isn’t the best at hiding her emotions either. Luckily, Rosabella has no intention of ever disguising her motives.

When someone typically hears Rosabella’s name, they think that she is a dainty and serene girl, but that is not the case. Do not underestimate Rosabella. You may think she knows nothing, but she is always steps ahead of you. She prides herself in being fierce, bold, clever, and above all, a quick learner. In dangerous situations, she always chooses to fight through her fear, defensive of her loved ones. Whoever hurts someone she’s close to will have to face the revenge she’ll deliver on them. Once an awful first impression is made, you have a hard time recovering from it and she will loathe you forever. Rosabella is a ticking time bomb, able to explode if even one word is out of line. If it takes overcome every obstacles to ensure her family’s safety, she is willing to do so. Calm in tough situations, she forces herself to be sensible when irrational fear sprints towards her. She will not just stand by idly and wait for others to save her. Rosabella knows that if she wants change, she has to take matters in her own hands and change this world herself. The promises she makes are always ones she intends on following through. Rosabella is quick and silent, sure footed with her goals in her mind. Challenges are what she lives for, and she will take it upon herself to seek the best solution as efficiently as possible.

Self confidence practically radiates off of her- she will keep her head held high even through her roughest patches, and wears the label ‘mutant’ now with pride. After those years of being the bullied turned into the bully, she vowed one day to never let their casually thrown slurs reduce her into a mess of guttural sobs. After that day, almost no one has seen her shed a tear. Those who have are only the ones she trusts the most. Rosabella will not allow others to see her doubts or ‘Achilles Heel’. She has trouble consoling others about emotions, which makes it difficult to relate and understand her. If someone does somehow trap her into taking about her emotions, she will quickly rip off her facade and try to get the experience over with as soon as possible. This may be the only time you see her fumble with her words. If anyone around her cries, she will hurry to get away from the scene. Her emotional ‘advice’ usually just ends up making the other person feel worse about themselves. She can’t stand strangers randomly hugging her either. Tough love is what Rosabella is the best at; she can’t handle emotional talks that makes her seem sensitive, for fear that she will finally shatter and everyone will be able to see the immense pressure that has been weighing down on her her whole life. You may think that she is a emotionless robot, but truth is?- She feels too strongly. If one piece of her disguise falls off, she’s not sure she can keep herself contained and doesn’t dare test it. She’s very realistic with others and with herself, borderlining on a pessimist. Rosabella can’t be bothered to let her hopes soar when all her life, her hopes have never even been touched- she can’t stand any more disappointment than she already has.

Rosabella is not the best at making plans and sticking to it. Her unpredictable nature leaves others unsure of themselves around her. She’s adventurous and able to adopt to her surroundings easily. A risk taker at heart, Rosabella will almost never refuse an offer, even if it’s an unlikely bet. The consequences of her actions don’t occur to her immediately, and at the heat of a moment, she may make some critical choices she will regret.

Respect from Rosabella is painstakingly hard to earn. You have to prove yourself to her again and again, and she only has the deepest respect for those who fight against authority and never gives in. The mutants who don’t take action are just as much as an enemy to her as humans are. Someone is either her ally, or someone she needs to ruin; there is not an ‘in-between’. Anyone who just complains and doesn’t set out for change is considered ‘lazy’ and ‘weak’ in her eyes. Rosabella is the type of person who will keep challenging your limits, and won’t be satisfied even then. She will rise up to any occasion and embrace challenge wholeheartedly. Pleasing Rosabella is difficult; she’s always criticizing others flaws and changing situations until they fit her likings. She doesn’t plan on hiding her disdain just to make others feel better. Setting out to shred others ideas and beliefs no matter how deep rooted they are, Rosabella seeks to argue and has a quick tongue, insults jabbing at her opponent, bantering back and forth with enemies using her carefully targeted words. Her guard is up around strangers and she views them with a cautious eye and an untrusting heart, reluctant to believe that others have her best intentions at heart, and always thinking about someone’s worse before realizing their best.

There’s only so much one can keep silent before they snap- and Rosabella has reached that point. After not having a voice for so long, Rosabella is determined to use it. No need for minced words- Rosabella will say it how she sees it. Her main goal in life is for equality, and she will scream it if that’s what it takes for her to be heard. She doesn’t sugar coat anything, and will get her point across as brutally honest and simple as possible. If you can’t stand her truthfulness, she can’t stand to spend time with you. Rosabella is ruthless, and has no time for pity. Not caring for small talk or long, elegant words, she will plainly state what she thinks with as few words as possible. She’s curt, not mindful of what she says or if it causes disagreements. Sometimes, she will disagree just to disagree, with no other reason than she wants to. ‘Commanding’ and ‘authoritative’ are common words describing her voice. Her voice has harsh tones to it and her snarkiness often infuriates many, but she only reserves the softer, quieter tone for her younger brother. Her thoughts challenge the status quo. Rosabella can’t seem to keep her opinions to herself; she’s always insulting someone to provoke a funny reaction.

The dangerous gleam in her eyes and her stern expression is usually enough to make others listen to her, but if they don’t, she’s always open to resorting to violence, although she prefers not to. Her everlasting scowl and sly smirk scares many away; how others react to her facial expressions is her first test against them. Rosabella is very stoic; humor and comedy are lost to her. She takes almost every matter too seriously. If she does laugh though, immediately someone should suspect something is wrong; maybe she’s furious at you and wants you to let down your guard before she starts to attack, she’s probably laughing not with you, but at you. It’s no wonder one of Rosabella’s commonly used phrase is “Seriously?!”

Not many can get along with her, as her strong opinions makes her uncompromising. Rosabella chooses her conversation partners wisely; she will only continue to converse with those who can keep up with her, and won’t be offended easily. A disliking will develop in her towards those who questions her decisions; she doesn’t find it necessary to explain herself. Life is barreling towards her and she refuses to slow down for others and be left behind herself. Rosabella usually manages to make a terrible lasting first impression.

Everything has to go her way for her to remain calm, and she believes that ‘An argument is only over when I win.’ When someone pokes fun at her or her family, she will lash out, yelling and screaming, not afraid of using physical violence to her advantage too. Anyone who jokes about serious issues important to her will find themselves at the worse end of her patience. Her need for justice pushes her get into an argument with those who laugh at matters important to her. Rosabella has a thick skin and may seem like she isn’t hurt by words easily, but those who truly know her still knows those words sting. Whenever she feels helpless or feels like she has no purpose in life, she will become irrationally frustrated because she doesn’t know what else she can do.

Even though her hatred is not justified, she is cold towards almost all humans before she has even gotten to know them. All she can think is about is what humans did in the past to her family. Although she prides herself in being logical, she’s overall ignorant that humans have difficulties too in life. Her spitefulness before even meeting any humans gets in the way of discovering that not all of them are the same. Bitterness, resentment, and most of all, jealousy, are the emotions that builds up whenever she’s near humans. Anger at her life and anger at this world is pent up inside of her, and she has never managed to find a healthy mechanism to cope with it.

Rosabella has several strengths. She’s independent and doesn’t want to burden her family with troubles so she takes her problems up on herself silently. Her belief that she can do everything alone is an unhealthy one, but it has led her to become more resilient throughout the years. Even if she’s struggling, Rosabella will keep persisting and rely on her own resources beforehand. Having to grow up too quickly to take care of her family, Rosabella has always been the mature one. Even though she doesn’t mind taking care of her family, she has always wanted the carefreeness of a child who never had to worry about money back, the toothless child who had vivid dreams of being a singer and making it onto the stage before she realized how cruel life could be. She always felt like she had a larger purpose in life than the part she has now, but has accepted her fate, because she didn’t want to keep believing in such an unattainable dream and ruin the rest of her remaining days. Rosabella’s idolizes herself because she had no one else to idolize, teaching herself from correct and wrong, all the while hoping that what she was saying to herself was true. With so many goals in mind, Rosabella is is determined and motivated to achieve them. Being a decisive and an efficient thinker helps her too.

Even if Rosabella is prideful to a point where she doesn’t even truly see her own flaws, she does have plenty of them. Hearing a genuine apology from her is rare. If a relationship isn’t strong enough, her pride will barge in and ruin it. Others sometimes perceives her as ‘mean’, while she thinks she just being truthful- but to a extreme extent. Her strong opinions make her bias in countless cases, and intolerant with differing opinions. People’s emotions comes second to her winning and succeeding. She isn’t the best with teamwork, never looking past her narrowed view to bother to cooperate and accept that someone else is correct for once. She doesn’t enjoy the feeling of someone having leverage over her.

Rosabella may appear simply as a ‘mutant’ on the outside, but she offers a whole new perspective of herself to those who never abandons her through her wild personality. She has a longings for others to lift up their veil of their view of the world and see that she is more than just a ‘lowly mutant’. Even though it may be difficult to speak to her, Rosabella still will give valuable insight about life as a mutant. It’s the people that stick around, her loved ones, that gives her the dash of hope she needs, that she will begin to listen too, and begrudgingly agree to even. The mask she wears is a test to see who will really cherish her strengths and weaknesses, for who she is, who she needs to cling onto and never let go. Rosabella rarely mentions it, but after all has been taken away from her, she’s grateful for everything she has ever received.

Biography :

When Rosabella’s parents first heard the news that a girl was to be born to their household in a few months, they were thrilled. They had already had a now four year old son, Harris, and was excited to have a new addition of their family join them soon. Even though they were already struggling to provide for this small family of three, they decided to open their hearts to make room for another, not minding the extra shifts and jobs at the restaurant and shops they’d have to work to be able to provide for their daughter when she was born. Her parents decided that they wanted their newborn to bring safety and security to their family, and so, named her Rosabella. Much to their family’s joy, the delivery went smoothly, and Rosabella was birthed into this world.

Rosabella’s childhood was filled with wonder. Her household was a loving and supporting environment. She grew up very family oriented, her family a tight knitted group. Rosabella’s parents loved her with all of their heart, and made time for her and her older brother. Her parents had cooed when they realized that her blue eyes was gradually turning amber, her hair changing into red; some features of Red Foxes. She had large dreams of being a singer, making it to the big stage. Her parents and her older brother, Harris, would often laugh; she was still so young, and already had vivid dreams, before she knew how life was. In her free time, she was often found doodling and drawing on herself, bubbling happily.

Even still, Rosabella was often puzzled why her parents left the house so earlier, and came back so late each night. She never suspected how difficult maintaining a family of four was when they were struggling to afford everything they could and make ends meet. She was confused on why, when the few times her family went out, she saw the dirty looks thrown her way, the glares and quiet murmurs of pity.

It wasn’t until Rosabella was a bit older that the more noticeable signs of her being a mutant began to show. She was developing more Red Fox features similar to her older brother, her dad, and her mom. Her senses became better sharper than before. She enjoyed the long runs in the forest with her family, the wind rustling through her hair as she explored her Red Fox abilities. However, Rosabella thought nothing of this.

It wasn’t until she was old enough to attend school that she realized the difference between humans and mutants. Before school, she had been oblivious to this because how unconnected she was to the world. Rosabella never realized the clear division that still existed between her and humans. The other children in the school didn’t make such a large deal of her differences, they did have questions about it, some insensitive but she knew that was just their curiosity speaking. She was never too bothered about it- until she noticed that the human older adults and the parents of the children at her school made certain she knew that they weren’t at their level.

Meanwhile, her family still had struggles with money. When another child was born, her younger brother, Lawson, her parents had to work even harder. When she asked her parents why they were so busy, her mom only smiled sadly, while her dad told her the troubles. She wasn’t old enough to work, but in her spare time, she walked around the neighborhood, picking up bottles to recycle, running errands for people, and babysitting to earn as much money as she could. It wasn’t much, but she still wanted to help anyway she could.

As years passed by, her classmates grew less and less accepting of mutants and more narrow minded. When she entered middle school, she was teased and bullied; often rushing home with tears in her eyes. She could still hear the whispers, the deadly eyes that stared at her wherever she walked. She was envious of the joyful life others had, the expensive materials her other classmates had. She didn’t have the fancy clothes, the jewelry, her family had more important things to provide for. The hatred of her own life started brewing. She was ashamed of being a mutant, and spent long amounts of her time trying to hide her Red Fox features. Her resentment of humans grew, convinced that all humans were the same. During this stretch of time, she was deprived of social interaction and tried to better concentrate in her studies and forget about everything. She learned that the only people you could depend on was family; her hope in the world rapidly fading as each day passed.

Her parents had no idea of this happening because they were still too busy working, trying to provide. It was only her older brother that gave her comfort and the motivation she needed to return to school each day. Her older brother was the one that kept her going to school; reminding her that education was important and she needed one. That is, until, her brother got involved with the wrong crowd of people at school. His grades dropped, and when he finally realized what went wrong, it was too late and he had lost faith in himself; ruining his chance for a bright future. That day was the first time Rosabella saw her older brother cry. She was crushed; if someone who was always so strong around her couldn’t stay that way, how could she keep going? Her brother dropped out of high school and started working; if he couldn’t go to college, he wanted to make sure his sister and younger brother would have the opportunity he didn’t. Harris wanted a future for his sister and younger brother that he couldn’t have.

And finally, Rosabella began to break. She was under immense pressure all the time, pouring over books and trying to stay with her classwork. She needed to make it to college since her brother couldn’t; she would be the first person to go to college in her family. The bullying hasn’t stopped either. Fight after fight, each one more violent than the next, until she got kicked out of countless and transferred to schools. Day after day, she would walk home with bruises. Too tired of the situation, she gave up and became homeschooled. She couldn’t take it anymore. Rosabella was at wits end when her younger brother became bullied too, and she didn’t want him to end up like her; angry and regretful. She swore to protect her younger brother, Lawson, like her older brother had for her. Her shell had harden. After those years, she had enough. She had altogether stopped crying because she knew that didn’t fix anything. Rosabella didn’t always know she was a mutant, she didn’t always suspect how this world she lived in could be so cruel to her, how it could crush her dreams under their palm if it wanted to. She changed her name too when she introduced herself; sweet Rosabella was long gone. Gone was the toothless singer with a smile so wide it seems permanent. Her name would die with her past self and identity. After that, she would simply introduce herself to others with her last name, ‘Wellborne’.

As she grew older, the difference between mutants and humans became more and more noticeable to her. Equal rights- that’s what it stated all across the newspapers that had read about humans and mutants. However, she still felt this wasn’t true. This caused her to be a large advocate of equal rights. Even though she still loved her family, she grew spiteful at how they commanded her to keep quiet, to do what she was assigned as that was the only way to avoid trouble. She needed out. Rosabella had been kept quiet for too long and never wanted to experience that and be walked all over by humans again. Even though she knew her parents only had her best intentions at heart, she was bitter.

More stressed out each day, she decided to turn her attention towards what she thought she did best: art. Her best subject in school was always art; art was a controlled but wild way of expression that she loved. She would implant messages into her art, her way of letting loose her anger and turning it into something beautiful. It was her way of managing her emotions. As she strolled through her neighborhood one day, her eyes caught on the graffiti art on the sides of the buildings, people frantically trying to scrub it off. An idea occurred to her; she decided to try her hand at graffiti art, this was a way of expressing her opinions anonymously with the style she loved. Everyone would pay attention to her then; no one would be able to avoid her thoughts. Starting small, she practiced whenever she could. Her artwork depicted images of mutants and humans, the situation in the real world, and her views of important matters. To hide her identity and make sure she wasn’t going to be in trouble with the law, she came up with a code name for herself. At the bottom of her graffiti art, she would sign it.

She has never been caught before, although she has been close to being discovered. Careful and cautious, she makes sure that no one knows. Rosabella felt terrible for lying to her family about this, but her cover up was always that she was ‘studying’. She doesn’t want to drag her family into this mess and for them to pay for her consequences. She doesn’t like hiding what she does, but with her family at stake, she needed to ensure their security. As her artwork became more well known, she was hired anonymously by many people; and has managed to anger some important people by spray painting their business buildings. Although this new art form of hers originally was intended to release her anger, soon, she began to realize the beauty of it and fell in love with it. It turned into a hobby for her. Through this, she began to accept herself the way she was. And slowly, gradually, she became proud to be a fox. She didn’t like herself before, but realized she shouldn’t be ashamed.

When she grudgingly agreed to come back to school for her last senior year, her parents wanted her to have a chance to relax and sent her on the cruise.

Reposting Evabelle for my reference because I might edit her (I’ll let you know if I do)

Name
Evabelle DuPont

Sexuality
·>·>·>·>·>·>·>Homosexual<·<·<·<·<·<·<·

Personality
Evabelle is a quiet girl. She only talks to others when they’ve spoken to her first, and even then, she’s short about it. She’ll do just about anything to avoid touching other people at this point of her life, and is thus a very curt person, even though she tries to be polite and kind. She often claims to be fine or pretends to be when she’s really not and does everything she can to avoid worrying others. She loves to dance, but only does so when she’s completely alone. She loves to listen into others’ conversations since she won’t let herself participate in them much.

Biography
From the very day she was born, death was a theme of Evabelle’s life. Five children before her had been lost to stillbirths or miscarriages or other complications, and when this pale little girl emerged a month before her due date, silent, her parents were sure she’d be the seventh. When she wasn’t, they were incredulous, and named their little girl Evabelle, meaning health, in a subtle prayer for her. And at first, it seemed like perfection. Things couldn’t be better for dear little Evabelle, who was light and graceful on her feet even from a young age and had a laugh that left everyone stopping to stare at her.

However, their luck didn’t last long. At the age of 9, she was diagnosed with the early signs of a genetic muscular disorder, and told her health would deteriorate, and she wouldn’t make it past the age of 20, and that if she was lucky. Her parents were devastated. Her father left Evabelle and her mother, too lost in the rage and sorrow of his only daughter dying and unable to deal with the stress of it. Her mother became a shell of herself. At the time, Evabelle was far too young to understand, and so her mother decided to only fully explain it when Evabelle hit 14. Until then, Evabelle lead a perfectly normal life with many friends and finding a love for dance.

Then, she turned 14. She found out the true extent of her disease. She told a few of her closest friends, and they left her. They wouldn’t speak to her, and when Evabelle demanded an explanation, one explained that they simply couldn’t be close to a girl that would be dead in the span of years anyway, one who might not even be able to walk with them at graduation.

Those words hit Evabelle hard. She began to see the true extent of the stress her time limit caused her mother, and the way other kids would now avoid her as the rumors about her condition spread despite how hard she tried to make friends. She realized why her father left. By 15, she made up her mind. She would not allow herself to touch the life of anyone else, literally and figuratively. She donned a pair of gloves, and would not let herself touch others and only spoke when spoken to.

The single luxury she allowed herself in this routine was remaining on her high school dance team. Evabelle had grown into a limber and graceful girl, and though she avoided the members of her team, she loved to dance. However, she had to quit within a year as her disease affected her once perfect mobility and boundless energy with fatigue and difficulty moving quite as gracefully. She still danced on her own from time to time, when nobody was around, but never had more than a little bounce in her step and perhaps the humming of a tune around others, and she grew ever-stricter on herself in her routine of never touching others.

She made it to senior year, and couldn’t believe it. She’d be able to graduate after all. At this point, her weakness was beginning to hit points where she could barely stay conscious when she overexerted herself, and she couldn’t dance without something to hold onto nearby, though she still allowed herself this one simple pleasure. She never told her mom as she noticed the bruises that’d appear from falls she would’ve once been able to bounce right back from. She didn’t want to worry her further. She went on the senior trip, knowing it was her one last chance at something to remember before she’d be forced into wasting away the rest of her short life in a wheelchair.

Name (First & Last): Andrew “Andy” Alair

<·<·<·<·<·<·<·Sexuality: Heterosexual ·>·>·>·>·>·>·>

Personality: Andy is very clingy, sometimes to the point of appearing creepy. He is attached to those he cares for at an unnatural level and fabricates relations between himself and others sometimes, and gets lost in dreams about them. He has a strong dislike of mutants even though he is one, and tends to avoid them. He is easy to anger and pretty aggressive. However, he never talks to others first, he waits to be spoken to, though he makes it cleat that he wants to be spoken to (though not by mutants, he ignores any mutant who speaks to him) yet still acts surprised when he is spoken to, especially if the other person is polite. He is careful not to offend humans, though he will straight up insult mutants without an issue.

Biography: From a young age, Andy was well aware that he wouldn’t be able to be a normal part of the world around him. His parents and older sister tried their very best to be able to fit in and be a normal part of society, but when six year old Andy watched his father receive the death penalty for severely injuring a human who’d harassed him, it was the beginning of a strange attitude towards humans that built in him over time.

At first, it wasn’t too prevalent in him. He believed that he could still be a regular part of society, that maybe what happened to his father had been an exception. After all, his older sister Alaina was still shining in school despite what they were- she had excellent grades and would chatter on about her endless friends and their adventures daily. But when he tried to be accepted, he noticed he was shunned even more. People seemed to just want to be with other people, not with a literal four-eyed
freak. This realization hit him even harder after Alaina attempted, but didn’t succeed in a suicide attempt, and his mom and him learned that she’d been bullied and was lying about how happy she and all her made-up friends were to give Andy hope that he could be just like everyone else.

So he eventually resigned himself to just watching. He slunk to the outskirts of every classroom and conversation, and watched. But then, the unthinkable happened during his freshman year of high school. Someone was kind to him. Faye Jensen said "hello"s to him from time to time and smiled at him. From time to time, she would invite him to work with her on group projects, when he’d previously just waited for the teacher to assign him partners. She didn’t talk to him outside these few occasions, but Andy began to believe that perhaps all humans weren’t so bad as his desperation for someone to treat him normally lead him to fall in love with Faye.

Eventually, without him realizing it, his love became an obsession of sorts. He felt incomplete without validation now that he’d had a taste of what it felt like, and the only one who seemed to give him that was Faye. Even when she spoke to him less and less, to him, it was still kinder of her than others, and he was curious about this girl. He began following her home, and watching her nearly all the time. He let his academics suffer and ignored his family to see Faye, who he was convinced was his soulmate. A hatred of other mutants developed in him- after all, if this perfect girl who was his world seemed to notice only him in a world of them (which wasn’t true, she was casually kind to all mutants, a fact he didn’t notice), the rest must be repulsive and horrible. He even stabbed one of his six eyes out, and would’ve stabbed out the remaining it took to make him seem kind of normal, but was too weak to after the pain of the first. None of them were worthy of being in this world to him. Eventually, Faye realized what was going on when her girlfriend told her that she’d noticed him stalking her constantly, and she placed a restraining order against Andy.

Andy was shaken, but he didn’t give up, even when his mother and sister worried about him. This was a setback to him. The next time he found someone he liked, he merely had to be more careful. The restraining order was kept private by Faye’s parents, much to his relief because with her taken away, he could hardly stand more people shunning him. His mom switched him into a different school just in case though, and there he found a few more nice people. Kaden James. Elisa Martin. Sun Young Lin. Jennifer Cortez. This time around, he was a lot more careful as he watched them, desperate to be as close to these sources of light for him as he could.
