Sitting at a table, can anybody help?

I can’t seem to make people sit behind tables.
Can anyone tell me the easiest way to do that?

I want to use background INT. CLASSROOM FRONT - DAY and have the characters sitting at the tables as I start.

How to do?

put the characters behind the overlay by putting overlay of the desk at top layer and characters at lower layer.

or use

INT. CLASSROOM FRONT OL - DAY

it has already overlay in it so your character will be automatically behind it, just the front one, if you need back seats you need overlays

But I still can’t figure it out…

I’m trying to put some of the characters behind some of the desks, behind the front desks and I just can’t put them in the right spots…

Please help. Thank you.
