So im using INT. CLASSROOM LA DESK - DAY for the background and im making 2 ccharcters sit down but only one shows up on the screen and also how do you make the character sit behind the desk? (can somebody also tell if how to zoom easier in the directing helper i keep dragginb it but its so hard to make it drag the way I want it to go. It just goes in whatever direction it wants, shrinking or getting bigger.)

if you want to get the characters to sit behind the desk you need to use the background
INT. CLASSROOM DESK - DAY
and the overlay
DESK CLASS (make sure to set the opacity to 1)
If you dont feel like typing the code in yourself
Just make sure to replace MALE and FEMALE with whatever character names you want and change the spot placement accordingly to make it look right (if you need to).
INT. CLASSROOM DESK - DAY
@FEMALE spot 1.424 60 -59 AND FEMALE faces right
@MALE spot 1.397 274 -37 AND MALE faces left
@overlay DESK CLASS create
@overlay DESK CLASS opacity 1
If you want them sitting then you can do
INT. CLASSROOM DESK - DAY
@FEMALE spot 1.424 64 -77 AND FEMALE faces right
@MALE spot 1.397 291 47 AND MALE faces left
@FEMALE is sit
@MALE is sit
@overlay DESK CLASS create
@overlay DESK CLASS opacity 1
as for the zoom director
If the background is only increasing and decreasing in size press the button Switch Tool: Focus if you want to move around the screen and Switch Tool zoom to increase and decrease the size of the scene. (if that doesn’t work then I don’t think I can help with that)
