I had a small question on how to use the selfie overlay as text message bubbles which I found quite confusing because I watched Joseph Evans videos on youtube about overlays but it didn’t help me. I just want simple steps on how to make it possible for two characters to send text messages to each other.

whatever you want to say here.
or
put the background in zone 1, 2, or 3 and then put the characters in the a different zone then the background and then you can text from there.
