Small script problem? Background shows before the hsl

Hi,

when I preview this part of my script (below), the mirror creates first, then the screen gets dark with the hsl for at least 3 seconds, then the room gets light again and "RUBY IS M’’ and “MATEO” (the reflection for this moment) appear out of nowhere and the story goes on normally.

Does anyone maybe know how I can change the script, so I have the darkness (for maybe less than a second) at the beginning and that it maybe flashes when the screen gets light? While nobody will see the background first and they are already standing there, in front of the mirror?

INT. BEIGE BEDROOM - DAY
&cut to zone 2
&zoom on 487 568 to 268% in 2.5
&overlay MIRRORR create
&overlay MIRRORR IN create
(whole overlay Mirror and mirror inside creation)
/set hsl 0 0 -100 no_colorize with blendMode Normal to 100%
/transition shade down in 0.8
/speechbubble is 161 421 to 107%
/pause for 0.4
&MATEO spot 0.994 186 214 in zone 2 AND MATEO moves to layer 4 AND MATEO is react_scream_horror
&RUBY IS M spot 1.183 155 106 in zone 2 AND RUBY IS M moves to layer 6 AND RUBY IS M is idle_terrified_loop_rear
/reset hsl in 0.3

I normally have the hsl command before the background. E.g:

&hsl blah blah in 0
INT. BACKGROUND NAME
#the rest of the script here

Thank you so much, I didn’t even think of that! I put the hsl before the bg and it immediatly started the way I wanted it :relaxed:
