Lol I get it but the point is it is still being used on the story. Take a look at mafia stories they all be drinking and smoking promoting violence.
You see, you are absolutely right there nobody should be able to get away with it no matter what status they have but episode just favours people it seems. And ads episode don’t even follow their own guidelines, I saw one that it had visible s*x on the ad. I don’t think it is fair because there will be a cover somewhere that has a character smoking but we can’t do anything about that. What we can do is make sure we follow guidelines and then you don’t have to worry about it being rejected.

Honesty, the guidelines don’t make any sense. Most people show these things on their story and no, not once it be several occasions.

I guess I’m going to have to tell the artist to remove the cigarette and leave the puffs.
I think it’s because it looks a bit like a joint. So they wrongly assumed it to be weed? Perhaps submit a ticket and explain that it’s actually a cigarette.
Because for one of my story covers (on a currently unpublished story) the love interest is smoking.
But there’s no smoke coming from the cigarette and it also looks like what it is, = just a cigarette. And they accepted it.

I see. Well I’ll have to wait for their response and tell the artist if she can make a few adjustments. It’s a shame since she worked so hard on the cover

Plus, I bet you spent decent money on it. So I 100% understand why you’d be so annoyed by their decision.

heyy…some of my backgrounds like these have also been rejected…
I again put them in review…and after that…they approved it 
So maybe put the same rejected cover in review again and see if Episode approves it or not…
