That's a lot of messages.

after it transition the first time im trying to get to the next scene when they are standing up but instead it shows them lying down still then goes to the next scene

shes still lying down while hes talking but i have her doing admire

That’s because after you transitioned, you had other code after it. Once you do a transition that leads to another scene, you can’t have anything after it except for the next scene otherwise the previous scene will show up again.

The music off should happen before the transition and the fade in should happen in the next scene

the selfie background didnt work

Overlays don’t work on the INT. BLACK background, sorry babygirl

False.
They DO work but you’ll need to zoom out to find it- I guarantee the selfie overlay is there, it’s just gigantic and offscreen. You’ll need to scale it down and shift it.

Zoom out- you’ll find the overlay. You need to scale it down and shift it =). Overlays for some reason don’t show up normally on certain backgrounds (I believe it has something to do with the size of the background). After you shift and scale the overlay you’ll need to add those coordinates to the background line.

the transition is still doing it and she is still not doing admire part

Spot the character first before the behavior:

@CECILIA3 spot 1.280 230 32 AND CECILIA3 starts admire_happy AND CECILIA3 faces left

I also replaced the is with start that way there’s no pause. I would do the same with CODY

And for the transition… I see you have a pause right after scripting the next scene:

Is that important to you? Because it might be causing the issue

Maybe do:

So then you have something in between but it won’t be as long as a whole beat

the selfie overlay isnt working keeps showing the background black i even zoom reset didnt work

I still believe that you can’t use overlays with INT. BLACK bg
If you want to use a black background, I suggest uploading your own. That’s my advice

However @EliseC has stated that she knows how to make it work so perhaps she can further instruct you on what to do.

I recommend that if you’re going to just use a phone for displaying messages then perhaps use INT. CELLPHONE - DAY background

But if you’re heart is set on the SELFIE overlay then I suggest uploading your own black bg

If the animation doesn’t work, try putting the character’s spot first and how he/she faces and then the animation. I find that if you don’t do that then the animation won’t work. I mean, it could be just me, but who knows?
