I know how it feels to lose motivation.
I have been coding for 3 years now and have learned some tips I could share with you to regain inspiration:

  1. Read your favorite stories on the app,
  2. Watch some romantic or drama films to get interesting ideas for next scenes,
  3. If you don’t get any ideas from these, use Character Al. It will help you generate ideas! Just scroll down to “write a story” and ask questions regardless your story!
  4. Try something new like making an edit or video with you characters, overlays, backgrounds, play with outfit section.

Hope it helps! :green_heart: :green_heart: :green_heart:

It really sucks to lose motivation, but it’s best not to force yourself to write if you are in that situation. You can read/watch stories you love or re-read your story as it might help reignite your love and motivation for your characters’ lives.

Also, since you say you have multiple stories, I would recommend focusing on one or two so you can have more devoted energy, which may enable you to build a closer attachment to writing that story.

Yeah imma put 1 on pause and work on the 2 i love most

I say take your time and don’t rush yourself and finish the stories you’re working on. Now may I ask, have you planned the stories you’re waiting to publish?

You’re best focusing on just one at a time if motivation is something you struggle with.

Go with the one that you connect with and have the most ideas for first

Yep

It’s common to feel unmotivated at times, especially when it comes to creative projects like writing. Here are some tips that may help you find the motivation to work on your other published stories:

Take a break: Sometimes taking a break from writing can be the best thing for your motivation. Try stepping away from your stories for a little while and doing something else you enjoy. This can help you come back to your writing with fresh ideas and renewed motivation.
Revisit your goals: Take some time to think about why you started writing in the first place and what you hope to achieve with your stories. Revisiting your goals can help reignite your passion and give you a sense of purpose.
Get feedback: Consider sharing your published stories with others and getting feedback. Positive feedback can boost your confidence and motivate you to keep writing, while constructive criticism can help you improve your writing and feel more motivated to make changes.
Set small goals: Break your larger writing goals into smaller, more manageable ones. This can help you feel a sense of accomplishment and motivate you to keep working towards your larger goals.
Experiment with different writing methods: If you’re feeling stuck, try experimenting with different writing methods or techniques. This can help you find a new approach that works for you and get you excited about writing again.

Remember that finding motivation is a process that takes time and effort. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you’re feeling unmotivated, and don’t be afraid to reach out to others for support and encouragement. I hope this helps you! It helped me when I was feeling stuck! I wish you good luck! <3

Coming from someone whose archived at LEAST 12  stories because of the lack of motivation, you should either

force yourself to work on the story you see the most potential in

or

make a new one, but also make a new plan so you won’t lose motivation.

Some tips! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  • Plan some bits of the beginning, middle, and ending. Make sure you know where the story is going.

  • Note how your character(s) are going to develop, because sometimes without a character development of some sort, a story seems pretty pointless.

  • Set a schedule so you can have a goal and won’t get too exhausted.
Ex. Code 1-2 hours Monday. Write 30 min on Tuesday.
