Hello there!
I’m new to this so I apologize if I’m not posting this in the correct section, or if I’m doing this incorrectly.
I’m having an interesting issue which varies from machine to machine. When working on creating a story, on any computer I’m able to expand “Sounds” in the lower right corner and press the “play” button to “preview” a sound before selecting it. This works without a problem on two different computers and I’m using Chrome as the browser on each.
However, on a few other computers (also using Chrome as the browser), the “play” button to preview a sound doesn’t work. I click it and I hear nothing.
If I insert the sound command into a story and actually preview the story, I can hear it without a problem, but it is much easier to play a series of sounds first to figure out what I want.
I’ll also add that although I’m not a computer master, I’m fairly tech savvy. On the two computers where this doesn’t work, I’ve tried it on multiple browsers and the problem persists (save on IE11 where I can’t get the page to load at all). I’m not connecting through an RDP or anything - this is just a local browser.
The reason it seems like I’m living in a computer farm is I’ve tried this out on my work computer as well as some of my friend’s laptops and desktops.
I don’t have eight random computers sitting around.
Has anyone encountered this and if so, do you know how to fix this?
Thank you!
