Hi. I need some help with something. So, in previous stories I’ve read, I’ve seen stories where the MC has no name but when the reader puts their name in, it shows up. Any idea of how I do this?

They would use duplicate characters:
Character 1:
Script Name: YOU
Display Name:
Display name is blank
Character 2:
Script Name: NAME
Display Name: NAME
So create a duplicate character. If your character is a customizable character, use this technique:
