Spot directing/ layer directing?

For some reason c2 is higher than c1 and it needs to be the other way, how do i change that? here is my script
@CHARACTER1(boy) walks to spot 1.280 186 2

@CHARACTER 1 spot 1.280 186 2

&CHARACTER1 is kiss_makeout_rear AND ANGEL faces right

@CHARACTER 2 (girl)is kiss_makeout_loop

#2

Maybe change it to:
@CHARACTER1 walks to spot 1.280 186 2 AND CHARACTER1 moves to layer 1 AND CHARACTER 2 moves to layer 0

&CHARACTER1 is kiss_makeout_rear AND CHARACTER1 faces right

@CHARACTER 2 (girl)is kiss_makeout_loop AND CHARACTER 2 faces right

Yeah just change the layer of these characters and have the boy at a higher layer then the girl…
@brvnda can you give her that layer guide that you have…
It was very helpful to me so why not give that to her as well…

You’d need to layer the girl at layer 1 and layer the dude at layer 0.
Thanks @S.Dsana for the mention, here’s the guide :wink:

Hey, I’m also have trouble with my layers :unamused:

This is the section I’m struggling with:

@ALEX enters from left to spot 0.900 198 163 in zone 1 at layer 1 AND ALEX faces right

@JAMES enters from left to spot 0.930 76 152 in zone 1 at layer 2 AND JAMES faces right

Anyone have any suggestions?

I’ve also tried:

@ALEX enters from left to spot 0.900 198 163 in zone 1 AND ALEX moves to layer 1 AND ALEX faces right

@JAMES enters from left to spot 0.930 76 152 in zone 1 AND JAMES moves to layer 2 AND JAMES faces right

But no joy with that either. :sweat:

TIA :hearts:

Try putting them moving to a layer seperately. So:

&ALEX moves to layer 1
@ALEX enters from left to spot 0.900 198 163 in zone 1 AND ALEX faces right

Same for James :slight_smile:

If that doesn’t work, try putting them 2 layers apart. This happens to me sometimes too but when I put them 2 layers apart it seems to work.

If THAT doesn’t work try combining the two methods:

&ALEX moves to layer 1
@ALEX enters from left to spot 0.900 198 163 in zone 1 AND ALEX faces right

Same for James, but instead have him move to layer 3.

You’re a star! :star: It worked when I put them two layers apart. :blush:

Thank you :grin:

How do I stop my character from going behind my overlay as soon I make it perform an animation? I got all the layers and positions all set. You can see the character and everything but it’s until I want my character to idle_lay_awake_rubeyes_loop, it just disappears behind my overlay. I need help please! :disappointed_relieved:

I’m using a sheet overlay so I could get a “birds-eye” of the bed.
