Girl yes I was honestly born and raised half my life in the hood though and still talk way too “proper” for a black girl at times that’s what people love to say that or I’m too gettho for people or too white but really I’m just chocolate

What does it mean to talk in the hood? Do you mean ‘talk like you’re from the hood?’

Pretty much you know with a slang and really loud (at least that’s how “the hood” talks where I’m from.)
