That black people are rude and talk in the hood

I MEAN I AM NOT TALKING IN THE HOOD NOW, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP

#363

Girl yes I was honestly born and raised half my life in the hood though and still talk way too “proper” for a black girl at times :joy: that’s what people love to say that or I’m too gettho for people or too white but really I’m just chocolate

#364

Yep :joy:

#365

Just for clarification, so I don’t say anything I don’t mean here…

What does it mean to talk in the hood? Do you mean ‘talk like you’re from the hood?’

(Not to assume a stereotype or anything.)

#366

Pretty much you know with a slang and really loud (at least that’s how “the hood” talks where I’m from.)

#367

Oh, yeah, okay. I think I know what you mean now.

I mean, there is such thing as AAVE (you should look it up if you don’t know what it is), but that’s not to hold anyone to any stereotype.
