In most stories the evil bitchy girls at school are White.
The stereotypes that white people can’t dance and we are all basic bitches.
oh and that White people are more privileged than other races.

Also, British food is terrible. Like are you kidding me? We have some of the best food in the world in my country

I took a bunch of stereotype tests to see if there was any I didn’t like. I took the stereotype quizzes that were how stereotypically ____ am I?
I did Texas, American, white and black, and the results were weird, but I didn’t like the white, black or American quizzes. The Texas one was…lol, pretty tame and very accurate. But I don’t like the stereotype that all black people must like BET, the same type of entertainment and I don’t like the stereotype that all white people are financially well off all the time. I don’t like how a “stereotypical” American is some bumbling redneck idiot that just chants “USA! USA! USA!” All the time. The questions are fine, I guess. The way they were asked I think were just a little insensitive. Shrug. No biggie.
GRANTED! Now, I do like BET…I guess I could be classified as a redneck, and I’ve been financially well off before, but not even most of the time am I financially okay.
In case you’re curious, (these are the STEREOTYPICAL SCORES, not what’s true) I am 81% Texas, LOL, believable. I am 9% white, not believable…50% black…eh. And then 65% American which is BS! The only answer in that quiz was the last one where I was like “Well, this was a waste of time” because it was a bad quiz. Almost all the questions had “USA! USA! USA!” As the answer and I’m like…-_- I mean, yeah, but how about some real questions and answers, you know? Now, I took a different American quiz that was much better than that one, and I got 100%. That’s more like it!!:DD

Anti-social and/or mentally ill people are “weird” or “creepy”…something along those lines. I’m both of those things and I may be “weird” and sometimes “creepy” But not all the time! PSSH

Most of the stereotypes about the region I live in are pretty much true. XD
However, some of the ones about North Dakota are certainly not. One stereotype is that the state is unimportant or there is nothing here. In the eastern cities are many universities, restaurants, theaters, and the like, and the west has beautiful nature. The cost of living and unemployment rate are good too. During the recession, many people came here to find work.
Additionally, despite having under a million people, North Dakota produces more petroleum than any state except Texas; is the top producer in the nation of honey, durum, sunflowers, flax, canola, and many kinds of beans; and is a major producer of many other crops and resources such as sugar beets, other wheats, barley, oats, potatoes, lignite coal, etc.
Another stereotype is that people here are more racist. I wouldn’t say peeps are more racist here than anywhere else, and they may even be less. Most people are white, and if you aren’t there is a good chance that you are foreign. Considering that ND has taken in more refugees per capital than any other state in a very short time, a lot of people would rather new immigrants assimilate quickly.

I get sick of people at school going “Wow! I had no idea you liked these things let alone had a personality at all!” cos I’m quite reserved and I hold a very blank facade in public
Or when they go “Wow! I had no idea you could actually stand up for yourself let alone speak confidently at all!” cos I actually don’t let people walk over me despite being somewhat antisocial
Or when they go “Wow! I had no idea you knew her let alone had any friends at all!” cos I don’t talk to a lot of people other than my small friendship group
Or when people I meet for the first time go, “Wow! I had no idea that people of your race were capable of having manners and being well spoken let alone being a fraction of sensible at all!” cos unfortunately everybody of my ethnicity is automatically profiled as ghetto and rowdy.
