Stories that you think are overrated

My question is: does that happen in real life? Do girls really fall in love with the bad boy?

Sometimes, not alot. But it never ends or turns out good.

Pretty rare - imma be real if a bad boy had the audacity to try it on, he would be fling material :joy:

Do you mean the villain in Positively Princess? As far as I know her religion and ethnicity are never stated outright, but her design/behavior were essentially a collection of old anti-Semitic stereotypes. So you could ignore it if you didn’t know enough about those stereotypes, but for people who are aware of them, it was pretty clear that she was coded as Jewish.

I AGREE!!!

White people can have slender eyes or full round lips! It’s not impossible, but it’s not that common.

The funny thing is, authors do this on their characters as well. I saw 2 authors put Upturned Feline (the non make up version of it is Slender Natural) when their eyes are not slender! Same thing happened with Full Round lips, the girl had Blossom Lips and picked Full Round for ā€œherā€ details.

You can create your own character in Episode and say ā€œThis is who I play asā€ but you cannot put things you don’t have and claim that these are ā€œyourā€ features.

I assume you only read IMAM and IMAP? She’s actually a fantasy writer that sometimes writes romance. She’s one of the few people who wrote about dragons. And the first person to write about grim reapers. I wouldn’t consider them overrated since they are not common.

Exactly. It’s stupid and annoying.

They hate us and never defend us but claim our features. Smh.

I’ve read Back and Forth as well. Though I admit that story was fun to read at times, I didn’t find it to be anything wow-like, if you get what I mean. I suppose that’s just one of her different stories. In that case, my apologies.

No need to apologize! Episode only featured her popular story and left out a beautiful story as ā€œThe Dragon Brideā€ if anything, Episode should apologize for introducing her like that!

I disagree. The Pregnancy Game shows the struggles and heartache of infertility, premature birth, and post partum depression. The title is misleading. As a woman who has experienced premature birth and PPD, I think it is one of the better pregnancy stories out there
That being said … it is SUPER drama lol

While it also fetishizes pregnancy and it turns away from that serious point because of her continuous romanticizing. I get her message is nice but she portrays it and leads the discussion wrongly. I feel she should have done the story line differently because it isn’t it. If she would have interpret it differently from the original, it would have been way better and give a more serious field or tone for a serious topic.

I don’t feel it fetishized pregnancy, personally. It portrays a woman desperate to get pregnant after years of trying. It also later shows the husbands point of view in how he was being pressured into becoming a father when he wasn’t ready.
Obviously it’s a controversial story given the the route the MC goes to get pregnant and the lies between she and the husband. The other love interest is … borderline sociopathic to say the least. Overall I liked it though.

Yeah I’ve been waiting for her to update the Dragon Bride because it’s like an arranged marriage story without the shitty parents and and the author knows what consent is
