Same with the girl who fricking writes the well known romance story “complicated”, I get that’s it’s her story and everything but her as the author being a person of colour she surprisingly barely puts any diversity in her story and it’s disheartening 
.in her new upcoming story I was hoping she would add diversity in her new story but the characters look exactly the same as her other story, “complicated.” But she’s a hard working author so…

Let’s see… There are a lot of stories I think are overrated.
Personally, I find the ones where MC gets a makeover and goes from becoming the nerd of her school to the queen bee or the talk of the school overnight ade highly overrated.
Stories related to pregnancy are not only overrated but also harmful to the community in a way? I am not sure how to explain but all I can say is pregnancy is being romanticized in a lot of stories. Unwanted pregnancies are actually a problem, thus I feel like they should not be portrayed like this.
Also the stories where MC becomes royalty overnight are also largely overrated in my opinion.
And of course there are cliches with the golden boys, players and bad boys. These storylines are overused and yet, get the most reads and attention often.
P. S. Everything I stated here is my personal opinion which I am allowed to express. Kindly do not make a deal out of it, please?

I don’t like how pregnancy is glamourised in the Episode stories. There’s a lot of people who may be triggered (not using that term lightly) by the painful memories they may go through. Some authors really need to think about this.

Tell me about it. Also, there are people that do not want kids meaning stories like that would really grind their gears too. There needs to be more stories that are not under the romance genre.

OMG always. I am from India and so people there are always like always more interested in someone else’s business. Specially elders.
