I do agree with the fact that a woman shouldn’t be determined by how many people she’s kissed or gone further with, 100%!
However, these characters often just lead all the guys on and hold onto the “it’s not technically cheating” thing too much, which is how I understand @Anastasia_writer’s point.
If it was just kissing guys at a party where they all know they’re kissing that girl and no one has feelings for one another, yeah, doesn’t really matter. But it’s never like that. Sure, you’re not technically cheating if you’re not officially dating any of the love interests, but it’s still a d*ck move, right? At least give us the choice, you know? And the fact that male characters do it too means nothing to me since I don’t like when they do it either. No double standards
