I agree with this so much. You shouldn’t have to change yourself for someone else.
Clarification: I don’t find it “sexy” or interesting to read a story about a girl who makes a boy cheat on his girlfriend with the main character.
More importantly, just how shallow and bad are characters that fall for other people WHILE they’re in a relationship? You can’t break up a couple that easily–it’s 98% impossible to do, and they don’t just look for someone else immediately.
Talk about home-wreckers, boyfriend-stealers and the whatnot… In most of these stories, I sympathize for the one who was cheated on, not the MC, who’s usually making the LI cheat with her.
I disagree.
Why falling for someone who is in a relationship makes you bad? You cannot control that. Now, acting on those feelings is a completely different subject; that is downright disrespectful, but still, there is no such thing as a boyfriend/girlfriend stealer. Depending on the case, the person in a relationship is in charge of doing the right thing (declining the third person’s advances because they truly love their partner) or the other right thing, which is to break up with their girlfriend/boyfriend if things are getting out of hand and be honest about it (“Look, I met someone… and I think I am very interesed in them”). Will the latter hurt? Totally. But that does not make it bad. There are a lot of wonderful people out there; being in a relationship does not mean you will not have feelings for someone else ever again. But you still ought to decide whether to take the right course of action (2 options, depending on your feelings) or cheat.
So, to sum it up: no one makes no one cheat on their partner.
I understand where you are coming from, though. I dislike those kinds of shallow stories too. But if they were written from another perspective, in another way similar to what I explained before, then I do not think that would turn out to be a bad story. After all, there would be a lesson for the younger audience there.
Of course, this is subjective as it is just my opinion.
Well, the term “stealer” is what they can be seen as. I mean more of how it’s morally wrong (to me, at least) to pursue someone already in a relationship. Isn’t it technically one of the seven deadly sins?
I really despise stories if the MC’s obviously apathetic to the consequences of her actions. I think in one story, she didn’t care that she ruined her relationship with her childhood BFF by … erm… falling in love with the BFF’s boyfriend. I never seem to notice any karma, either.
I’ll admit, IRL, I’ve been attracted/am attracted to several boys who were in relationships. Now that I’m older, though, I realize I’d rather see them be happy with someone else than ruin their relationships for my own gain. If these MC’s really “loved” their crushes to death, why would they want to make them unhappy like that?
Keep in mind, though, I completely respect your opinion. We wouldn’t be humans if we didn’t have different ideas, right?
I just add some things weak MC drives me nuts and why does it seem like majority of female MC are virgins and just loses there virginity to the male MC mostly a bad boy or gang leader without a second thought.
And I notice why are female MC seem to be classed as unattractive or plain (comments from others during the story) and during the story yet the males are seen as Greek gods and the MC should be lucky to be with someone so good looking how about female MC being beautiful and the male LI being plain.
That’s my goal currently. Just started to learn the coding a few days ago so, it’ll be some time before it’s up. I was reading somewhere that if there aren’t at least 3 episodes completed that it won’t show up on the search options? How true is that do you know? And also if you don’t mind me asking, how do people find new stories? And where can I go to promote my episode? Thanks, and sorry for thread jacking.
they know new stories becayse of the fourm
and i think u go to genreal
Oh thank you, I’ll dig around there and see what I learn
I think that usually the bad MC is beautiful, but she thinks she’s plain because the mean girls bully her or something, but every boy falls for her at first sight. I hate it
I like your pfp.

(NOTE: I am adding more over time)
Plain Jane: I’ve always been seen as unattractive with my glasses, brown hair, green eyes, and tan skin.
Bad Boy Ace: I’m black-haired with a slit eyebrow. Something about you is different, Jane. I want you.
Mary Sue: Hell no, Boy. You’re mine. Stay away, Jane, or I’ll ruin your entire life. By the way, I have thick pink lips, wear pink, and I’m blonde.
Cronie Carla: I support Mary Sue, but to be honest, I’m so stupid that I don’t even know why! In some stories, I don’t consider her a friend, but she has dirt on me, and I wind up supporting Jane later!
Rex the Ex: I’m usually the ex of the MC. She broke up with me, but I’ll start off innocent and try to get her back. Then I’ll try to ruin her life as my true colors show—the colors that caused us to break up!
Nerd Berg: I wear suspenders and glasses, and even though I love Jane, she’ll never notice me.
Bestie Betty: Jane relies on me to get bad life advice and overspend gems for overly-thotty outfits!
Golden Boy Bob: Ah, I’m Bad Boy’s brother/stepbrother, but Jane will only find that out once she gets us both!
Mystery Man: I’m the person from Jane’s past that caused her to stop trusting Bad Boys…
Smothering Mother: I’m Jane’s strict mother who seems to be 56 years old, and despite my strictness, I never seem to be aware of what she does until she gets in trouble.
Festering Father: I’m Jane’s dad, and somehow I never seem to be around. I might be dead, divorced, or I’m cheating on Smother when she already knows but doesn’t want to divorce me…
Coach Roach: I’m the sports coach for the boys. Usually, I’m involved in some sort of student relationship with…
…Nancy Nympho: Somehow, I always wind up being the teen mother of Coach Roach’s son or daughter because of our illegal relationship!
Gilberto Gangster: In some stories, Jane falls for me one time, or I get so obsessed over her looks that I kidnap her, give her Stockholm Syndrome, and we have fifteen kids together who fight about becoming the leader!
Lorenzo Loser: I’m just the stereotypical loser character the MC sometimes has to meet to get something done. Or she owes me something. Or vice verse. I don’t care.
Side Character Susan: I’m just a miserable side character who doesn’t get enough attention. In some stories, I vanish without an explanation!
Hence… the plot of nearly every Episode.Official story XD (and a few really bad user stories)
yay another klance fan!
omg that’s completely true
that description of the plain jane is incredibly accurate
This thread is on FIRE!

Omg!!! Yes!!! That’s exactly why I started writing my own stories because I get to be as original and unique as I want to!
my newest stories are all different in their own ways and a TOTAL CHANGE from what gets promoted by Episode…

it’s actually a problem. I let my sister loose on the app and she started reading this story where you get pregnant by the teacher (spoiler alert he’s also the leader of a gang) like do you really think it’s okay for ten year olds to read this shit???
Technically, the app is not for 10 year olds.
But kids don’t think things through- they’re bound to just click and download.
