I’ve decided to open my art commissions since I’m currently in a difficult financial situation as a disabled student. I’m willing to draw story covers and art scenes for your stories. I prefer to draw portraits of people, but I have no problem drawing animals as well.
Here are a few examples of my work – you can find more on my Instagram page: @funicidal

All transactions will be made via PayPal. I’m also willing to split the price and offer payment in instalments if you are unable to pay the full price at once, though I will ask for the first instalment to be paid prior to my starting to work on your commission.
If you or anyone you know might be interested in a commission from me, I will be more than happy to work with you! Just shoot me a DM on Instagram, and we can start discussing all the necessary arrangements.
Hi! Thank you for your interest It’s hard to pinpoint what the final price would be as the complexity and time required to complete the commission can vary greatly, however, I generally start charging at about 20 EUR (22 USD) for a headshot of a single character. I have updated the original post with the estimates.
I invite you to send me a DM (preferably on Instagram, if you have one) where you can describe the specifics of your commission, and we can discuss further arrangements.
i really don’t want to be this person…but for some reason the first picture you made especially the second girl and the second photo wit the two guys looks like it’s part of episodes asset and that you traced it and it doesn’t really look like it’s your own personal art.
Hi, those examples are indeed edits. The reason I’ve used them is to show my art style, but any commission I would make would not include any Episode assets per se. I honestly don’t think I have great examples of completed fully hand-drawn artworks at this point to show them off lol. None of the examples in the original post were commissions.
ok but again I’m not trying to start anything but how come you have different styles of ur art work? Shouldn’t they all be the same? Like when you see artists they have the same style and not different…?
Your work - your time - your price
But, you need to be aware that if you’re going to charge prices like this:
For reference, if I were to price the examples in my original post, I would set the price for the first one at about 110 EUR (118 USD), the second one 140 EUR (150 USD), and the third 60 EUR (65 USD).
people on forums may be not be your target and the art must be exceptionally good to consider the range you proposed. Now when probably 90% of community is struggling with money, adding to that the amount of authors (upcoming or not) that are looking for free art/covers or cheaper prices - if you want to charge someone 100$+ it’ll be very hard for you to find clients.
What I can suggest is lowering your price list, maybe include it in your post after you alter it, and work on an additional examples that are not “edits” like you mentioned in your response to @/maandy to show your skillset. That way people will also know what they’re paying for, and your style per-se.
That is because some are older than others. An artist’s style can evolve over time, and an artist can also draw in multiple styles using different techniques.
I have charged 120 USD for a two-character commission before, but I can see why that might not be a reasonable expectation within this community. I thought splitting the price and allowing the client to pay in multiple instalments could be helpful, but regardless, I will take altering my prices into consideration. I also charged as little as 25 USD for a two-character commission in the past, and I was told I was underpricing myself a lot (though I didn’t raise the price then). However, I disagree with this:
Some artists tend to charge about the same or even more than me for a more simplistic art style and/or fewer hours spent on their art. I am by no means a professional nor is my art style the best thing in the world, but the amount of time and effort I usually put into my work is a big factor to consider when estimating how much my art is worth.
i think your art is really good, and i wholly agree that artists shouldn’t underprice themselves for the hard work they put into their art (which too many seem to do), though i do think if your original prices ranged at $100 and more, it would be a bit much for this community because let’s be real, the majority of episodians are minors or otherwise in school.
Thank you, I appreciate it Yes, I agree, and I have altered the estimated prices accordingly. After all, I’m a student myself, and I know how much we can struggle financially, hence I created this thread in the first place. To be fair, I’m not really expecting that minors (or generally people without a decent income) would come to me (or anyone, for that matter) for paid commissions. The worst that can happen is that I simply don’t get any clients here, therefore I will have to look elsewhere.
