I can’t stand stereotypes. There’s so many that I can’t even name all of them. It’s okay to use stereotypes, but there has to be some sort of an element added to it to make it more “original” and “creative”- otherwise it has zero substance.
Perhaps I’m incredibly picky, but I will tap out of a story the absolute moment a character says something that’s unrealistic and forced. It’s annoying, real-life isn’t like that, and it overall loses substance. I love reading stories where the characters don’t have perfect dialogue and it flows naturally- it makes the story feel more personal, real, and therefore increases my engagement.
Directing makes a huge difference to me. If there are a lack of zooms, overlays, music, etc., then I’m not as interested- it’s as simple as that lmao
Last “big thing” is grammar and spelling- if you don’t know the differences between “to,” “too,” and “two” or “there,” “their,” and “they’re,” you don’t capitalize “I,” you don’t use “a” / “an” correctly, or anything else in that realm, then get your story out of my face 
Obviously people make mistakes when writing a script, but constant mistakes are a fat no

When the author takes to main characters. I’ve never seen it done where it wasn’t super cringy.

Everytime MC and LI meet it’s either a school project or bumping into each other in the hallway.

Lazy authors. Don’t put Alma in your story as a background character. Anyone who’s every made a story and is in progress of making a story recognizes her.

yeah, no, I understand that.
but I’ve read stories where there simply is no music or sound, but everything else is great. I’m not saying that if a story is amazing and has no sound then I’m not going to read it- I’m saying that no sound mixed with poor directing or another weak element, then I’m not going to read it.

Biggest pet peeve is those small grammar mistakes. Like if you use you’re intead of your or other things like that. It makes me wanna scream. I literally start to be like ‘‘that not how you’re supposed to write that word!!!’’
Also another one is when the directing is super stiff. Like always using the same animations and always using screen left etc. and not spots.
And huge gammar errors I just can’t even start to begin with.

Thought the same but after going to con’s in some time I have got a lot friends whom I dont even know the name of. sometimes its been like I been cosplaying from the same show as them and end up spending the day together
