Story Review Process

I think this means that once your story reached a rank in the top 100, it will get into a review queue. Until it gets approved, you won’t see it on the app, but only on the portal. Then when your review is done, it will show up on the app, but only if your rank is still within the top 100

So my portal is saying it’s 101 in comedy. However its overall ranking is higher then one of my other stories which is ranking as 50 in comedy, by about 150. I was just confused as i would like it to be reviewed but It won’t go past 101 despite performing better then my other stories.

Yep I’m having the same issue with my new story. It initially showed up as under 100 when I switched its genre, but now it’s stuck at 101 and won’t go lower. I have other stories in this genre that have been reviewed and are showing as trending higher but they’ve definitely had less reads in the same time span. Overall ranking for the new one is also better.

It looks like someone above had the same question but was never answered.

Yes! exactly my problem and I have no idea whether it’s been flagged for review so it can get into the top 100? Because It won’t go beyond 101. Its all a little confusing.

Super confusing.
On top of that, I submitted my story to be reviewed a while back and was told they were no longer doing that because of the amount of reviews to get through. So stories will only be reviewed “if needed” :woman_shrugging:t4:

Oh, I thought your overall rank was higher because it was in another genre, like romance or drama. But if it’s in the same genre as your other stories, then you are right, this doesn’t make a lot of sense. In this case my guess it that you won’t see your actual rank until they reviewed the story, but you know, I’m just trying to speculate because I’ve also seen this question and it never got answered.

Well, I got reviewed. I wonder that even if we can’t see our “real” rankings, if the team still can?

I have a question.

If a story has been banned, can it be entirely re-written into another story and get reviewed again so it can be put back on the app?

Hi @Gracex ,

Did you ever get an answer for this? I’m having the same issue now. But the only answer I’ve been given is that reviews are no longer required for a story to appear in the top 100.

Thanks,
Catelyn

What about someone like me whos story has been ranked at N/A for almost 24 hours now? :slightly_frowning_face:

I was having this problem, and then instead of being hard stuck at 101 it went to N/A rank.

The episode interactive asked me to make some changes in the story and I have already made those and I have replies them under 72 hr. But they aren’t responding. Do anyone knows how tine does it take to get back on ranking board.

I’m not sure but you can always submit a new ticket if they don’t respond soon and explain that you had received notice that your story needed to be adjusted and that you had made the changes and would like to know if your rank will be returned or if it resets the ranking.

Most of the time, if you email back on a week day, you get a response within 24-48 hours after you reply to them. They may need to review the changes, etc. I’m not sure.

I don’t know exactly how these reviews work, but it seems to me that most of the time errors are found intentionally. Why don’t you also clarify the fact that you approve covers, backgrounds and overlays without even looking at them. I received an email last night where you removed me from the top 100 because of the cover and two overlays that were approved by you. Why don’t you evaluate every mistake before giving hope to a beginning writer?
