hey guys.
i want to add a choice but its giving me a error, and i dont know how to fix it.
choice (this gives me the error) it says choises must follow dialog immediately, not a branch

Hello,
You also need a dialogue right before the choice starts not afterwards. So put:
KELSEY
What do I want to wear?
choice
“Option1” {
#whatever goes here for when they click option 1.
} “Option2” {
#whatever goes here for when they click option 2.
} “Option3” {
#whatever goes here for option 3
}
Also on the original post you had before this I noticed you’re typing @pause for a beat multiple times.
You can just use @pause for #, # representing the number of seconds you want to pause for. Example:
@pause for 2 or even @pause for 1
You also had a spot where you repeated pause, it looked like this:
@pause pause for a beat, you’ll need to fix that.
You were also missing the word spot before the coordinates.
I would suggest first getting familiar with spot directing and other coding before diving into coding choices.

I recommend looking at some of Joseph Evan’s tutorials on youtube when you’re just starting out writing a story.

Basically, in the story I’m writing there’s a theater club that is meant to be putting on different plays/musicals throughout the story.
Can I only use copyright free plays/musicals such as Shakespeare?
is there any YouTube suggestions on how to code ?
Hi, so I used a CC template in my script and for some reason when I preview it my character does not show up. I replaced the name to my character and Ive done everything the instructions say. Please help lol
Have you spot directed it right? It’s already coded to stand idle in screen center, but if you’re zoomed in somewhere then it won’t show up for you.

Yes it’s alright if you’re using copyright free plays! Shakespeare is public domain so you can incorporate his plays in your story
