Oh well if I’m doing it i typically put my characters in zone 2 then but the character I want offscreen in zone 1
Thank you will do this
Your welcome
Sorry for the delay!!
@overlay 4573340806545408_CELL_PHONE shifts to 82 178
@overlay 4573340806545408_CELL_PHONE scales to 0.146 0.146
I also want it to disappear when she picks up the phone
Thank you!!
&DAD walks to spot 1.280 116 5 in 2 AND DAD does it while walk_angry_loop AND ISLA faces left AND ISLA walks to spot 0.929 271 30 in 3 AND ISLA does it while stepback_scared_loop
Why does ISLA not walk backwards but faces the other way and walks weirdly towards the other spot front facing?
maybe it’s because of the animation?
idk, but I tried reversing the way she stands and that doesn’t help either
Maybe try with walk_rear animation or whatever it’s called in LL
but then i wouldn’t be able to have her walk back scared
can you pm me your whole scene?
Yes, I just saw this
Did you get it?
So sorry for the late response, I’m so busy
No haha I’ve been super busy too!
I’ll keep playing with it lol
To add it:
INT. PHILADELPHIA BEDROOM - DAY with CELL_PHONE to 0.147 82 178 in zone # at layer #
(Replace # with a number. BTW adding in zone # at layer # to your command is totally optional, it’s just that it helps)
To remove it:
@overlay CELL_PHONE clear
(or you can always make the opacity 0)
So:
@overlay CELL_PHONE opacity 0 in 0
Does anyone know how you can show multiple overlays directly one by one, so that it looks like a movie? Currently there’s always a black gap between each new overlay…
I am struggling with dialogue and need some help making it sound natural.
My MC bumps into an old friend who says, “We need to catch up sometime.”
The MC is quite busy. The main things my MC could say are “yes”. “maybe”, or “no”.
Everything I think of sounds so unnatural. How could my MC reply?
Here are some of my ideas
Yes: “Definitely!” Or “Of course!”
Maybe: “Sure…” or “Yea…”
No: “I’ve been very busy lately…”
Thanks!
How do you use the hold-hands and hold-waist animations? I was playing around with them and couldn’t figure it out.
HEELP Pls!
Or I’m gonna lose my mind
I want to fade out the music in my story. So I searched on the internet an found out, that you can write “volume music 0 2000” for example in your script.
But now, my music won’t start correctly. It starts at the beginning of a scene, but it breaks up after less than one sec. What can I do
For example:
@transition fade out black
volume music 0 2000
music off
@pause for a beat
music music_spooky
volume music 50 0
