I have a question—> How does label work? I didn’t mean how to use it. My question is, Can I use the same label name in the script for each episode? Or will they conflict with previous episodes one in the story?
I know we can’t use the same label name twice in an episode script. But can we use the same label name in a script for a different episode of the story?
Yeah, you can use the same name in different episodes. Tho I don’t know why you would want to do that. You can literally just choose ANY name. But anyway, a label name can be used once per episode.

How do you keep characters on screen when you change backgrounds?
INT. BACKGROUNDNAME
&CHAR1 stands screen right
Use & instead of @ and make sure the transitions (if you use) is after all the &

Yes, they will stay there. So, when you switch scenes they will be doing the same thing they were doing in the last scene.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me with something. At one scene in my story, I need one of my characters to drop the Bagel Plain prop. I created an overlay of the bagel to try to really get the effect in of her dropping it, but I can’t seem to figure out the code to make it look like it’s being dropped from her hand to the floor. Any ideas?
