Support isn’t responding!

So I’m entering a story in the magicka contest, and I messed up on the form. Liz said in the instructions to write to support, and so I did, but that was about a week ago. All they responded with was a message saying basically that they would get back to me. So I messaged them multiple times after that (not trying to be annoying but the deadline was getting close :joy:) and the same thing kept happening. I even messaged Liz personally, and I didn’t get a response. So I’m a little nervous because the deadline for the contest entries is tonight, and I really don’t know what to do. If anyone knows who I can talk to or what I can do in order to have this problem addressed please help me!

How bad was the mess-up? Can you re-submit it just to be safe? You’ve already sent a ticket so hopefully if they get back to you, they can just disregard the first form or something?

That’s the thing you can’t submit it a second time. It was bad because I didn’t know I couldn’t enter something that wasn’t already published so the first one I wrote in was an entirely different story.

You mean that was already published?
I don’t know what the best advice is honestly, because I would likely be freaking out like you and messaging everyone I could think of (try Melanie?) but the deadline is in a few hours so I doubt anyone will get back to you before then. Because you submitted your support ticket well before the deadline, hopefully everything’s okay.

I’d usually say support would be your best bet, but I completely understand why you’d be stressing right now :upside_down_face:

How long does it typically take for support to respond?

It varies. I usually get a response within 48 hours, but then sometimes my question has needed to be escalated to someone else which can take a while.

Do you have experiences with contests? Do you think they would be lenient on something like this?

I do (I’ve entered 5 lol).
And… I don’t know. A friend of mine submitted her form- except her submission never went through. She didn’t realise until after the deadline and submitted a ticket. They basically said too bad, and her entry didn’t count. But she didn’t submit the ticket until after the deadline. You submitted yours beforehand.

Can someone else fill out the form for you? Or can you re-submit it if you go incognito?

the problem is the multiple reply. I did that once too but when you reply on the automatic respond before they reach you the system will see you respond as a last in comunication and it will put you on the bottom of the automatic waiting list. So the more you reply the longer it will take because thay react on the questions in time as they were sended and you were with this unknowingli putting yourself on the bottom of the waiting line again and again.
