So I just realised two of my stories have characters with the same surname… is this a bad thing? The stories are completely different and are in no way linked together.
Nope!
I’m sure some readers might have some questions as to whether they’re relatives or not, but you can always set the record straight with them or specify it in your FAQs at the end of your chapters or the at the beginning of the stories. 🤷

Probably not. People who haven’t read both stories won’t find a difference. You can also add something like an FAQ at the last with the question and your answer
