I was smart and send both because I had no idea
I like it this way as well but wouldn’t it be difficult to decide which story is trending and in which genre? I mean, that would mean that a trending story that has two genres will trend in both genres, which would take space from other people. I don’t know, I don’t have wattpad so I don’t know how it works
I put the wrong link
Same
I would determine success as having tons of readers, therefore, I know as a new writer with less than a hundred (compared to others who have thousands or millions of readers) I feel horribly unsuccessful… and kind of like other writers who do have the numbers… idk
What I would love is for episode to have a better way to promote new writers/stories that aren’t top of the community. In the genres, we only see the top stories. So, really no one knows about any other stories unless they specifically search for the story name; hence unheard of stories never get read. I know about having to promote, use tags, etc, but this certainly doesn’t create a boon as an actual listing of each story per genre would. If readers had access to all of the stories, not just the top ones, more stories would be read, seen, etc.
Can we have an admin acknowledge this??? I have no idea how some stories get to 11 million reads, and others (like mine, new writer) aren’t even to a hundred. I think it would very much encourage more writers writing, and give a plethora more of unique stories that would expand the episode platform (therefore retaining more writers/readers and diversifying creativity.)
I’m glad you liked my ideas.
I would like to say that the Mobile Creator on the phones was so easy. I respect their decision to make a story on a laptop. But why did they remove the option!
I never got the chance to use it, but using the desktop version is soooooooooo hard it discourages writing. It’s so unpleasant and stressful and doesn’t facilitate creativity at all so, if anyone is pushing to make it easier/bring the mobile form back i want to support
