You’re laying in your bed on a Halloween night, watching movies and eating candy. The room is pitch black, the only light coming from your TV screen. Suddenly, you hear heavy footsteps coming from the hall, you think “Isn’t everybody asleep?”.
What do you do?

You slowly open the door and look out. The hall is dark, but you see the outline of a tall man, You can feel your heart racing. You start to close the door, when he turns around and looks at you… he starts running towards you! You scream and quickly slam the door shut and lock it, frozen in place, thinking of what to do, he starts banging on the door. A voice calls out “Honey? Are you okay?”. It’s your father, you hesitate to open the door at first, but you open it and hug him. Thank god it’s you! You say. You look at your dad in confusion of why he’s just standing there. His body falls to the ground with a knife in his back, you scream in terror. Then you see the same tall man standing behind him, smiling.

Lock the door and hide under your covers
You quietly tip toe to the door and lock it and tip toe back to your bed, hiding under the covers. It feels like you have been laying there for ages, just then you hear banging and screaming coming from the other end of the hall. MOM!? DAD?! You say in your head, the screams stop after a second. You check your phone and a few minutes have passed, you decide to get up and grab a bat that has been under your bed in case something like this happened. The doornob rattles, your heart begins to race! You turn to the door holding the bat, ready to swing. A few seconds later you hear sirens getting closer, and running footsteps going down the stairs. You look out your window and see 3 cop cars outside of your house, the man on the ground with a police officer ontop of him, cuffing his hands. The man looks at you and mouths, “You can’t hide” and starts laughing.
Aw no! You coudln’t save your parents!

Grab a weapon and run out
You quickly grab a bat that has been under your bed in case something like this happened, and confidently open the door and see him walking towards you. The confidence you once had, fades away. You look away and tightly close your eyes anways, and hit him with the bat multiple times. You look back at him, on the floor. A sigh of relief escapes from your mouth. You grab your phone and call the cops. A few minutes later an ambulance takes him away to the morge.
Congrats! You protected your family!
But is he really dead? HAHAHA!!
