Tappable Coding Help

Everything is correct, but it still gives me this stupid error. I had this in my first episode, and everything was fine unless it was a bug.

&overlay SKIP BUTTON clear
@speechbubble is 159 223 to 111%

@pause for 1
@transition fade out black in 1

&overlay START BUTTON clear
&overlay SKIP BUTTON clear
@speechbubble is 159 223 to 111%

}

What’s the error?

Hey, Dara. Hope you’re well. So, this is my error.

oo

So whenever you get that error message, but you checked and all brackets are there, then the error is somewhere inside those brackets, which means you have an error in your story line script and the script doesn’t know where.

It would be better to use labels and gotos and place your episode outside of the start/skip tappable choice. Otherwise, anytime you come across an error in your episode, it will keep saying “there is a { that does not have a matching }” and you won’t know exactly where the error is.
