Hi guys! I created a tappable section and in this section, I want my readers to be able to choose till they find the true option but in this code, I can only tap and open the first choice. I cannot tap the second and third ones. What should I do?
line 4515 - remove word tappable over second option
same for third option
#example:
tappable
“OVERLAY1”{
choice
“Yes”{
}“No”{
}
}“OVERLAY2”{
choice
“Yes”{
}“No”{
}
}“OVERLAY3”{
choice
“Yes”{
}“No”{
}
}
This is because you do not need to write tappable before every option. Try this:
Summary
label circle_menu
tappable
“CIRCLE-BLACKB” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
readerMessage You’ve chosen the right key, Witch! with messageTitle +1 Witch point!
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “CIRCLE_BLACKB2” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
sound wrong_buzz
readermessage Your answer is wrong. Please try again.
goto circle_menu
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
}
I deleted the second “tappable” but still, I can’t click on the second and the third sections.
can you show how your new modified full code looks? Also when coding the overlays make sure you can see them and that they are present in the scene and spelled right.
I copied and pasted this but still the same outcome
Uhhh, coding is a b*tch sometimes
check if your overlays do not overlap or are not covered by any other transparent overlay - because then they cant be tapped.
Of course! lastly I copied and pasted @dishsoap’s coding in my script . I am going to ss my screen wider.
So ontop of this, you also need to watch the sizing of your overlays. If your overlays all cover the 640x1135 px limit then you will only ever be able to tap on a single one of them. However, all I did was remove the tappable inbetween each overlay… so try doing that as well
that’s true you want to crop them always if transparent area around it too big or not properly distributed and then upload them. I use PowerPoint to crop but you can also ask someone on forums for help. Example:
Actually it can be the reason because I use transparent key overlays in this part and I added on the section overlays
Yeah… My situation is probably associated with this problem
because I didn’t crop the unnecessary parts because they’re transparent. I am going to crop them as much as I can then I am going to let you guys know that whether it worked or not.
I cropped the unnecessary parts too but there is the same problem still.
I sent you an image showing the six overlays that I use in this section and their scales and layers.
And this is the code in my script right now.
ok try removing the numbers in front of them all so it’s just (an example):
&overlay CIRCLE-BLACKB shifts to 301 397 in zone 1 in 0
and when testing to tap on them, test on your phone, on the app. make sure third option does NOT have tappable in front of it as that would start a new tappable choice instead of being with the other two.
with bg name and for shifts, scales, etc. in first ss you have KEY_4 but in in second ss you have KEY_3. if you’re still stuck can you show a ss of the third option?
#OK @Absinte i have to go now, you said you had 6 overlays so im going to use KEY_3 in this coding:
#So assuming circle-blackb has key-1, circle-blackb2 has key-2 and circle-blackb3 has key-3 (2 and 3 wrong, 1 right) can also try (borrowed a portion from @/dishsoap ’ s coding):
label circle_menu
tappable
“CIRCLE-BLACKB” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
readerMessage You’ve chosen the right key, Witch! with messageTitle +1 Witch point!
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “KEY-1” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
readerMessage You’ve chosen the right key, Witch! with messageTitle +1 Witch point!
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “CIRCLE-BLACKB2” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
sound wrong_buzz
readerMessage Your answer is wrong. Please try again.
goto circle_menu
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “KEY-2” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
sound wrong_buzz
readerMessage Your answer is wrong. Please try again.
goto circle_menu
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “CIRCLE-BLACKB3” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
sound wrong_buzz
readerMessage Your answer is wrong. Please try again.
goto circle_menu
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
} “KEY-3” {
NARR
You chose this key. Is that correct?
choice
“Yes, I chose correctly.” {
sound wrong_buzz
readerMessage Your answer is wrong. Please try again.
goto circle_menu
} “No, I made a mistake!” {
goto circle_menu
}
}
