Hey I am in need of a LL template where the reader can choose there name
If you don’t have one if you don’t mind can you make the script that can work when copied and paste or template that would work
I will give you 100% credit
Hope it is not too much of a trouble
Thank you
Ok cool . When you get that error it normally means one of the brackets dosent have a partner .
Dara actually has a section explaining the common causes of that error. Here you go:
Also: your character is MC so you should change the input into this:
input What is your name? | What is your name? | Done (MC)
NARRATOR
[MC] is such a pretty name!
And then when you refer to that name use [MC] like above. For example:
MAX
Hey, [MC]. You look nice.
Help please anyone @Catniss @schittwriter @Martini_98
I have tried everything you have suggested and it hasn’t worked
The template you have used still uses @FEMALEAVATAR, when you don’t have a character with that script name.
Follow these instructions in order :
- Highlight “FEMALEAVATAR” in your script
- Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard (Cmd + F for Macs)
- A small grey box will pop up, click on ALL first!
- Type in your character’s name in all caps
In your case, ‘MC’ is your characters name.
Edit: I can see that you’re writing on an iPad or phone.
In this case, if you don’t have access to a computer, you’ll need to change the character’s name manually to MC everytime you see FEMALEAVATAR.
Do u still need help ?
Can you please post a screenshot of the changed script?
