I know what you mean by this, when I grew up I was called emo at school because I listened to (and still do!) MCR, Rasmus, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory, Blink, Green Day, Papa Roach, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional…

I was proud of my status though!! :metal::black_heart:

Nice! When I was younger majority of those were considered pop punk. With the exception of Dashboard and TBS…those were def emo.

I had diff stages. Skater, metal head, preppy, goth, nerd, all that stuff but never got into the emo of back in the day. :metal:
