The Episode Community Roundtable (Current Events Happening)

Why do you despise Democrats so much? At first, it was sensible, but now it’s hate… people like you are also contributing to division in our country. Placing the blame on a single party, instead of sharing the blame. Sad.

I don’t have a problem with democrats or liberals. Sorry it comes off that way sometimes. It is leftists I usually complain about when I say “libs/dems/etc”. Classical liberals and democrats I don’t have a problem with. It is leftists and any leftists viewpoints I don’t like. I don’t like their ideology. The people I have less of a problem with, especially since people can change.

I hate the ideology of the leftists very much. I have no problems with liberals, classical liberals, the ones that believe in freedom, even though we’d disagree upon economics and how to handle some issues, etc. We all agree on the most important things. It is just that mainstream people that claim the party aren’t just kinda left. They’re far-left. Many liberals and democrats agree. These people, we all get along <3

Sorry, I should be more clear! When I say stuff, I don’t always make it clear that I don’t mean all people (or even views, honestly) remotely on the side.

Not all liberals are leftists. But all leftists are liberal.

People are too sensitive to difference of opinion these days, (not talking about anything in particular.)

For example feminism. I know lots of people support it whole heartedly and personally adovactes for it. Personally, I am in variance of it. Now, I understand feminism and then you have radical feminists before anyone jumps and says ‘dont generalize’ because I am not. But this whole sense of women’s rights on the basis of the equality and same treating of the sexes has spiralled out of control. Instead of representing womens liberation, many feminazi’s are out there spreading toxic disgusting statements and double standards. If you are feminist surely you would WANT equal rights and not unscrupulous advantages towards women and illicit disadvantages to men? Because that isn’t feminism. That is creating superiority to women which isn’t what female emancipation is about in the foremost. I have seen radical feminists out there proposing monstrous ideas, (let me dumb them down) ‘i don’t like him! im gonna accuse him of sexual assault’ and then the minions join in ‘go get him girl!’ or ‘men are all disgusting! yes !’ I’m a female myself and don’t take this lightly whatsoever. Feminists should advocate and dissent over equality, for example the gender pay gap. Where I live (the UK) HSBC’s gender pay gap grows to 61% ?

Long story short : Feminisim is growing extremely toxic, extremely fast.

Radical feminists do exist, and I agree. But feminism is done in America.

I agree. It’s mainly because the radical feminists are silencing and excluding out the real ones, just because they have it correctly and don’t agree with their toxic ways. It’s sad how they are starting to overrule the basis of it and make it so intolerable.

Someone said that radical feminists don’t exist… the #metoo movement hurts and helps people in general.

I was providing an example of the gender pay gap. There a lot of circumstances I could provide from the USA as well, I just wanted to say that because I saw it some time ago.

I don’t live in California, so I’m not 100% on media talking about Pelosi. I hear that she’s a nutcase, but I personally don’t really believe it mostly because I don’t follow her, >.> or anybody that talks that much about her

From what I have read and seen, I don’t think she’s such a terrible person that she can be made out to be. And I think she’s more a good person at heart, like she wants to help people and be charitable, like many liberals (not leftists). I definitely do need to do some more research on her, though. I think she’s a good counter weight for when Donny says outrageous things.

I don’t think we should hate any politician because they sometimes say outrageous things. They all do ^^’ A lot more matters, and to me, Pelosi is no exception to that rule.

I agree with these points whole-heartedly.

Man, I hate this subject ^^’ - Pay gaps are all easily explained and it has nothing to do with discrimination. I understand what you were saying, though and I agree with you <3

Agreed. I like Bernie Sanders too.

X’D! I def don’t like Bernie. Socialism, even democratic/mixed economy socialism is something I do not want to live under. I honestly prefer Hillary’s policies over his. But I think Bernie is a better person than Hillary. He doesn’t suicide murder people X’DDD or demean women victimized by his husband >.>

Hmm…if there was an election that came down to Hillary or Bernie… the lesser of two evils in my opinion would probably be…I just answered this and then I started thinking about it more. I really don’t know. It’d depend on their campaigns again.

I’m leaning towards Hillary because she’s not as far left as Bernie is, she’s just a terrible, scummy human being. I’m trying to think about the policy, though  I mean…it’d be kinda like having Obama in office again which…not a fan, but he could have been a lot worse, honestly. He wasn’t as bad as some conservatives like to say, in my opinion, though I do think he was pretty bad and one of the worst presidents, just not THEE worst president. At least Obama wasn’t far left, though. He had some leftist ideas, but I think he was just a liberal who tried his best to really help people and it just didn’t always work out in America’s favor. I think he meant well, 100% - I don’t think Obama or Hillary hates America. Not so sure about Bernie, though…>.>

X’DD! I just asked my dad if it came down to these two candidates, who’d he vote for, and he said, “I wouldn’t vote.” Pffft! My dad is further right than me (numerically about further by 2 points). X’DDD

Bernie is an Independent, not a leftist.

I can respect that.

Just the way I see it personally, the spectrum looks like this:

<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Socialist/communist, Progressive, Liberal/Democrat, Centrist, Moderate, Conservative, Facist

These are other peoples' interpretations of the spectrum

So I think that this can be a tad subjective where you see others and you, yourself to fall.

I am cool and can get along with Progressives (some of them), liberals, democrats, centrists, moderates, and conservatives. The far left and far right are all insane, though. X’DDD
