I’m writing a story and it’s a romance, but I’m not sure when I should make the first kiss of the two main characters. Is the 5th Chapter to early or already to late? I need some feedback about that, please!

Any time is right as long as you let the readers feel a connection with the love interest. If they don’t have much chemistry or are awkward around each other that’s not a good time to make them kiss.

I think that you will have to pick the right time, doesn’t matter which chapter it happens

It depends how the relationship of the Mc and LI is. If they started off as friends then I would say it’s fine but if they started off as strangers I wouldn’t think so. But this also deals with how fast paced your story is and if you are going for a slow burn or not.

It also depends on how long your story is, if it’s going to be a short one, go for it! If it’s going to be a longer one, think about how the romance can develop, without it being too fast-paced or slow
