Can someone explain how diffusion works?

I got you girl. SO diffusion is where an area of high concentration enters a state of low concentration.
Think of it like a can of febreeze In the can it is dense (high concentration), but as you spray all the particles spread out meaning the concentration is now low. You could also add that it follows the concentration gradient.
