The Nemesis Eyelids lol

I think you missed out the zone and layer.

&overlay UPPER EYE LID create
&overlay UPPER EYE LID opacity 1
&overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to 50 50 in zone 1
&overlay UPPER EYE LID scales to 1.000 1.000
&overlay UPPER EYE LID moves to layer 1

&overlay LOWER EYE LID create
&overlay LOWER EYE LID opacity 1
&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -15 in zone 1
&overlay LOWER EYE LID scales to 1.000 1.000
&overlay LOWER EYE LID moves to layer 2

You can type in this first to see if both the lower and upper eyelid shows up?
By looking at your code, you did not include zone 1 after every shift, which may be the reason that your overlays are not working properly?

If you’re still experiencing problems PM me, I used the eyelids for my story and I can give you the script.

OH I SEE THE PROBLEM!!!
You can’t name an overlay more than one word, so it’ll have to be UPPER_EYE_LID

I don’t think that’s the problem though, because I do name my overlays more than one word sometimes. :thinking:

It doesn’t work though… You have to use “_”

Mine works though… Unless you have “AND” in your overlay name then that doesn’t work. I mean idk about you guys, but mine works, weird??

Huh in my case it doesn’t… Maybe I’m wrong! Let’s see if it helps using just one word :heart:

donacode is weird with overlays, I wish you could drag, drop, and resize but I guess we’re just working with what we got lol. sometimes adding it directly to the background helps

Try this:

&overlay UPPER EYE LID create
&overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to 50 50 in zone 1
&overlay UPPER EYE LID scales to 0.100 0.100
&overlay UPPER EYELID opacity 1 in 0

&overlay LOWER EYE LID create
&overlay LOWER EYELID shifts to -40 -15 in zone 1
&overlay LOWER EYE LID scales to 1.3 1.3
@overlay LOWER EYE LID opacity 1 in 0

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -175 in 1
@overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 290 in 1

@pause for 0.5

&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -15 in 1
@overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 196 in 1

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -205 in 1
@overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 350 in 1

@pause for 0.8

&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -15 in 1
@overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 196 in 1

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -435 in 0.8
@overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 550 in 0.8

@pause for 0.5

&overlay LOWER EYE LID clear
@overlay UPPER EYE LID clear

If the numbers of the spot directing are correct this should work.

It’s still doing the exact same thing

That doesn’t work because I didn’t name the overlays like that

I know. Try to name the overlays like that

No that didn’t work either. I think my numbers are wrong. I don’t know what to change them to. I have NO idea how to figure it out either…

What do you mean by “numbers”, do you mean the spot and scale?? :heart:

Put in the zone. Do the same to the rest of the shifts, and see that works.

@/overlay LOWER EYE LID shifts to -40 -175 in zone 1 in 1 AND overlay UPPER EYE LID shifts to -40 290 in zone 1 in 1

&overlay UPPER_EYE_LID create
&overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to 50 50 in zone 1
&overlay UPPER_EYE_LID scales to 0.100 0.100
&overlay UPPER_EYE_LID opacity 1 in 0

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID create
&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -15 in zone 1
&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID scales to 1.3 1.3
@overlay LOWER_EYE_LID opacity 1 in 0

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -175 in ZONE 1 in 1
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 290 in ZONE 1 in 1

@pause for 0.5

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -15 in ZONE 1 in 1
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 196 in ZONE 1 in 1

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -205 in ZONE 1 in 1
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 350 in ZONE 1 in 1

@pause for 0.8

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -15 in ZONE 1 in 1
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 196 in ZONE 1 in 1

@pause for 1.5

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 -435 in ZONE 1 in 0.8
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID shifts to -40 550 in ZONE 1 in 0.8

@pause for 0.5

&overlay LOWER_EYE_LID clear
@overlay UPPER_EYE_LID clear

STILL THE EXACT SAME THING :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

Yes!

Do you know how to spot direct? :blush:

Not a clue lol!!

In the preview rectangle in the right of your screen click “show helpers” then click “spot directing” and at th left of the screen there will be a square with " move" or “scale”, play around with those :heart:
