y’all, I need some RP advice
So I’ve got this RP-in-the-works project from the old forums I was saving to post to New Ideas in June and start in August if I had enough interest.
Thing is, back when I made that timeline, I was going to regular high school, and I assumed my summer would be super busy, and that I wouldn’t have much time to be on my laptop to check the forums (the old forums only worked on my laptop, not my phone).
So now, it’s the end of April, and I’ve realized things have changed majorly. I’m going to community college instead, and the school year starts in September, not August, and my summer, though it will be busy, I should have more forums-time, than I anticipated, especially since the new forums work both on my phone and laptop.
I don’t know what my school year will look like. It might be too busy for RP, it might not. So I’m considering just releasing my in the works project right now, starting it early June, and the way it is, by September, it will either be dead, or there’s a way with the nature of this RP that I can easily make it come to an end any time I want to, so if I am too busy to upkeep it, that wouldn’t be a problem.
I’m just unsure. I have it all ready, I was literally just waiting for the right time to release it, I have EVERYTHING all ready to start it if need be. I was just mentally kinda prepped for it to happen in June, not this soon. Even though I’m super hyped for it and this is probably the most excited I’ve been for any RP idea since Arcana Wars.
So uh should I put it on New Ideas?

Ben is extremely, excessively polite and classy at all times. He speaks in a bit of an old fashioned way, and is always well mannered and maintains his calm. It takes extreme circumstances to get him angry or sad, and in public, he is a gentleman, holding to traditional morals and values. He keeps many secrets and shows a very small part of himself to the world around him. When he doesn’t like someone, he gets very clearly condescending, though he doesn’t drop his air of properness. He avoids fights or trouble with authorities at all times. He can make very intelligent conversation, and chooses to do so often, refusing to ‘dumb himself down’ for others.

I’m thinking that if Killy Killy Stab School isn’t allowed, I’d just mesh Vellichor and Killy together to make some kind of Riddle School where the students will have to find a way out via puzzles and other ways, though that’s only if I can’t pull off the murder thing.

Idea that's unnecesaarily longer than it should be because of filler
On another note, I’m also thinking about making a rule where RPers can only post at certain intervals (like 5-10+ minutes) before they can post again, though judging by how some people take a lot of time to respond, it might not be necessary. On the other hand, it could prevent particularly fast-paced RPers from accidentally carrying out the RP and escalating the plot too much, or forcing people to dig through so much replies just to find the one they need to reply to. Though I’d still need to determine whether it’s also a good idea if the rules apply after the person they’re talking to posted, or after they themselves post…
Chances are that I’ll end up using this rule just so I can control events better for Killy and force people to make wise decisions about their time before certain timeskips, but that’s just an idea.
