i got a D on a practice quiz that was homework. luckily she said if you get higher than a 50% she’ll give you full credit. i hate ap so much.

So, In order to get more performance-based credits under my belt under my crazy schedule, I decided to (painfully) quit cinema and join the theatre vocacional class.
WORST. FUCKING. MISTAKE.
Look, I don’t care about landing a lead role. I don’t care about landing a role at all. I’ve seen ensambles who are the best part of plays my entire life and have learned to never underestimated their talent. My school is doing a play they did last year, with most of the same cast coming back to perform the same roles. Since most have been cast, I completely understand that they don’t have auditions and that I wouldn’t get a speaking role. Had I directed the play, I wouldn’t place the new girl in a big role myself.
But my director is such a bastard. And I’ve worked with directors before, I’ve directed before. I know the stress behind directing actors, especially considering he’s directing high schoolers (probably more stressful than directing adults like I did). But I’ve never, ever, met a director as horrible as he is. Not because he screams and rants and acts like everyone has the acting skills of sacks of potatoes. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not what a director should do (a good director should never show how stressed they are in front of their crew, that’s rule number 1). It’s just the fact that he disregard the ensamble like we’re nothing. I’ve worked with him in the past back in elementary school when I took junior drama, and I remember he never paid attention to the ensamble. However, since I had a big role, I never paid attention to it.
We’ve worked on this play for a month now. I see him for rehearsals two times a week. I worked with him last year to film the play. I helped him translate some of the dialogue to French and have been helping the actors who have to speak French in the play with their pronunciation. I’ve done all of that- and he still doesn’t know my name. I can deal with yelling, but never with the amount of disrespect he’s shown by simply not giving a shit about ensamble members, even though we’re as dedicated as the more “important” actors (and yes, I’ve spoken to the rest of the ensamble. He knows 1 name). And to think I dropped out of the cinema vocational for this.

I asked a professor for an assignment extension for 1-2 days because I couldn’t afford the textbook due to money issues. Instead of giving me the extension, she just said to take out a short-term loan… Ma’am… I JUST SAID I WAS HAVING M O N E Y ISSUES. Her excuse was that other students had the same problem… okay yeah? I still can’t afford your overpriced ONLINE textbook… Damn. I hate this place.

Yeah! That woman is shady as hell, I tell you.
Last year, the house which was just next doors to her was frickin’ robbed. Everyone from the apartment assembled to discuss on who was the culprit. But it was a surprise that everyone was present except that lady and her family. They said that they had to go out due to some fAmILy UrGeNcY, but ya know… You can fool everyone but you can’t fool children like me, you haughty, religious woman!
