@ - this is for doing something by itself
& - doing something at the same time with the @, or do an action after a given action of the dialogue
Example:
@overlay bla bla shifts in 3
@overlay bla bla scales in 3
@overlay ble ble shifts in 3
@overlay ble ble scales in 3
The overlay bla bla will move first then after that, follows the ble ble
but if you want them to move at the same time, that is when your use &
&overlay bla bla shifts in 3
&overlay bla bla scales in 3
@overlay ble ble shifts in 3
@overlay ble ble scales in 3
You can also do:
&MC is run_athletic
MC (dismayed)
OHEMGI!
The character will do its given dialogue action first (dismayed) then to be followed by the animation put in the & (run_athletic)
Make sure to do the & first before the given @.
