Facebook pages that deals with HELPING out our environment like 4Ocean, they CLEAN the ocean to get rid of the garbage, that’s number 1 that I salute to them. Other organizations that take care of animals because of poaching, if they were to go extinct, we would just be the only ones here on earth with mother nature. Also, clean our land from land pollution, /plant trees, etc. This is what we need to do, people time to wake up!!!

I’m a futurist so I probably inevitably have a more positive view of the future.
While I see the destruction of the climate change denier, I also see the good on people that are seriously trying to find a solution. Kids, teenagers, adults of every religion, race, nationality overcame everyone of their differences to send a message, a message that to a certain extent is starting to be heard. In my country for example is illegal to not recycle and climate change is a subject we study at school, other people inform themselves and do their best. Morocco, which is a third world country built the biggest solar power farm in the world so why can’t a first world country do it?
I agree, there’s no meaning in life. Other than making assumptions or if you have a particular believe, for an atheist like me life is just pointless. But not for this we should give up. We overcame all the odds, not only we’re living, but we’re the most intelligent beings there. Sometimes I just take a step back and I look at all the things we achieved. Imagine writing a fiction about beings that were able to create a communication service that gives you access to all the information ever had. Sounds fictional doesn’t it? Yet we did it.
Yeah, our planet will probably shake us off and just heal, we already passed 5 known mass extinctions and we’re currently in the middle of the sixth. But why does it have to end like this? Why can’t we fix our faults and take our future back? The future that was stripped to us without a warning?
Other than that I don’t believe in communism. Even if we got rid of money people will still find a way to be greedy for two reasons:
- Some materials are more rare than others then more valuable. This would lead to give them a value similar to money.
- Competitiveness is in the human’s blood. We need to achieve something to feel fulfilled. It’s sad, disgusting but true.
I’m not an economist nor a politician but in my humble and ignorant opinion the solution would be something in the middle. Using money only for useless expenses (like jewelry, phones and stuff like that) while using communism for stuff that we need in order to survive (food, healthcare, school and stuff like that).
I have a really complicated idea about how the politics should be but my answer is too long so I won’t explain any further

I don’t eat much meat, mostly because it tastes disgusting to me and it pains me to know that another organism died for me to just consume it. But, plants are also living things, so is there really a win win situation? I say this because Vegans tend to eat a lot of plant based foods as meat alternatives but…

St Eustatius went completely Solar as of recently, they’re only 21 square kilometres, and only 3000 people. what’s our excuse? We have the resources, we can start making steps in the right direction, wont happen overnight but hey! Going solar will have a ton of benefits.
Just a wild thought.

So yeah in my country now, we are starting to ban/ get rid of plastic when 2020 come, so idk what else is going to happen after that because we are still rebuilding Freeport and Abaco due to hurricane Dorian. Listen mother nature is no joke, she can kill us and thats it, we dont need the planet that God created, because we are destroying it, and thank God that there are people in this world who’s making a difference to stop climate change the best way they can.

You can try to make people’s lives better because if you feel like society can lift you up then you will want to help out, but if people treat you negatively you won’t wanna help, because it’s in your mind frame that all of society sucks.

I feel like people are starting to become a little more educated and aware of climate change. I’m starting to see more commercials about climate change. People helping to make a change. I’m seeing people protesting, publishing articles on global warming. The word is being spread. People are starting to do something about it. That gives me a bit of hope.
I’m not gonna go into politics, but… Hopefully our next U.S. president (if someone else takes his place) believes in climate change.
