Also the fact pizza did not come from Italy. In ancient Greece, people would have bread as a plate, then put food on the plate, and ate it in one whole meal. I don’t think the pizza was supposed to be invented! Spaghetti is not Italian people! So stop being racist!
Native Americans aren’t Asian…
Anyone who wants to know some real information instead of ignorant “facts”: Europe and Asia are both continents. Eurasia is what is known as a “supercontinent” and India is NOT part of the Middle East.
Uh…never said India was a Middle Eastern. And actually, Native American is actually Asian relative. I took 23And Me and it said 100%Middle Eastern. Because of Native Americans rooting from when people from Middle Asia(China, Korea, Mongolia, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, etc.) migrated during the Ice Age. But… Okay.
That’s not middle Asia. That’s east Asia. Have you ever done geography?
Maybe this song will help
They’re talking about your genetic history… Not where you are born. It’s talking about your DNA. For example, I’m 3.4% Mongolian. Meaning, my great something would have been Mongolian. Or Korea, 1%. My great something was Korean. It’s very long also.
I think you’ll find it depends on where in America. Most people from EAST Asia migrated to the Polynesian area (places line New Zealand) and didn’t even really get to Australia.
You might have done a DNA test to see where you came from, but I think you should focus on basic Geography first.
I read about it in History when I was in 6th grade. That’s how I got my info on the migration. Our SS teacher good us.
Cracks knuckles I’m currently doing my History Masters degree. 400 years ago, America was considered one continent.
If you’re going to try to apply history to now, do it properly. Otherwise, stick to the present.
I am. And I’m glad you know history, and for the record, I’m only 13. So I still have a long ways to go. I’m learning as I go. Everybody does that. I may not be a high degree in SS, but it doesn’t mean I can’t share what I was told. Facts or opinions, it doesn’t matter. We just need to be nice about who other people are. We’re all on the same page.
If you’re 13 and you don’t know what you’re talking about, why would you spread misinformation like Asia not being a continent? Or like the Middle East not being part of Asia? If you aren’t sure, don’t say anything. Or just ask. This post is here to educate.
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.
PSA: never, and I mean never, spread something you’re not sure of as a fact. You said it is a fact that Asia isn’t a continent. Don’t spread misinformation. You can have any opinion you want, but don’t present rubbish as facts
I hope this isn’t representative of the American education system. In the UK, we’re taught the 7 continents when we’re 8 years old.
…DAMN
I was told, I was sure, and everybody knows sides do not matter! Everyone deserves to share what they know. Even if they made a mistake!
It isn’t. I learned the same in school, and it was reinforced when I took geography my freshman year of undergrad.
… So long as they understand people are gonna correct ya
