Maybe. But since none of the titles seem to obviously match up with the protags of the books they would correlate to if in order, it could reveal more about their backstory. We know book 3 is Ala Haddin and her friend. Book 4 is Archer and Hood - I think they are the POV characters at least since there’s two of them. Book 5 is ~Blair~ someone and Hunter. I have no idea about book 6. I don’t think Shadow and Shade will be playable but I think their family history will somehow come into play. That’s why I wasn’t sure originally if Blair would maybe be in book 6, since it’s possible she’s been travelling around or something. Curiously, she didn’t list enough for all the remaining books, so i do think they’re 3, 5, and 6, since I’m not convinced Archer and Hood would be able to survive death the way that people influenced by magic can (magic of Cesam, presumably magic that involves Hunter, and the magic involved in crane wives, etc).
Where did she even get that? Has it just been sitting around somewhere for 6 years lmao or is it supposed to be a painting she commissioned I’m wheezing
I’m still thinking about this because like…is the Blair thing too obvious? Or does it just seem that way because I was thinking about it? Are there any references to Astra that I missed somewhere along the way? I still think it absolutely has to be one of those two, but Hunter wanting for stay in Caddelinn makes it seem like Blair might be the Ship, assuming she’s in Caddelinn somewhere - or at least somewhere not in Eraywyn. I’m assuming book 5 is the culmination of Hunter’s past catching up with him. So Astra is still on the map for me.
And I’ll say straightaway that the Cerasos outfit thing is a problem probably on my side. I must not have changed him properly. It was meant to be the fancy red jacket but uh not bloodstained
