Thick as Thieves Fan Club

Very plausible. I think for this moment in particular it could very well involve both his relationship with Vera and some innate magic and the interplay between them is determined by said cruel game of fate.

I’m pretty sure all the Thieves have some kind of magic in their history and ancestry, though what it is obviously isn’t clear to us as readers and it may not all be clear to the characters themselves. But Vera is the only one who’s ever not believed in magic.

Please refrain from making the Shadows cry

I can only imagine that the realm of user stories make the Cesam Deserts look like a flourishing oasis

¡Guau! De hecho, estás aprendiendo muy bien :astonished:

Oh! Right, I see! Ahahaha, no. Definitely not. You pay much too much attention for that.

The Mirror must appear and/or answer when summoned by its master/mistress. HOWEVER, as we see in Chapter 2, it can appear in its frame even when unsummoned. Of course, it cannot consciously be contacted without a frame transmitter in the mortal realm.

The realm of dreams… other realms… perhaps.

:eyes:

Stop making me spoil. I have 0 self-control and too much I want to share.

I am DYING. If you don’t know Quintillius, nobody knows Quintillius. The fact that you can speak TaT is amazing. Add it to your resumé.

Officially dead. My sister often jokes that TaT is just a massive ‘falling for the bad boy’ story. MY MC IS POTENTIALLY WORSE THAN MY BAD BOY.

As for secondary love interests… No kidding, I was going to make an otome at some point  Mostly as a parody.
I’m afraid it takes a particular person to love my plain, cruel Snow White. Definitely not the type every guy within a 3 mile radius will fall in love with. Plus, I have such a thing for massive friendships…

I’m… flattered. I do hope it will be slightly more interesting. As Hibiscus says, I take way too many liberties. But…this support is priceless.

As an update:

I have no idea what’s up with the Alys branching in Chapter 22 :man_facepalming: I may have fixed it but I’m not sure. If it’s not fixed, I might post screenshots of the branching because I’m quite fond of it.

Imma try that map this week in Inkarnate, like Isabella recommended because it looks awesome.

I feel valid for pointing it out now lol

I just want them all to be friends forever. Hunter is right. They can eat soup and play cards for the rest of their years. And whoever gets partnered together joins the crew. You already punched me in the gut with that Jasper dream where Vera called him Nox. I refuse to accept that they won’t all become best friends forever.

I volunteer as tribute :raised_back_of_hand:

Just to give you more insight on the problem; the issue might lie at the end result. It felt like the result depended on the very last answer to Alys’ question (starting with the Alys I know…) Mirror delivered every choice correctly but depending on the last choice, it congratulated me for convincing so my guess is that the break point lies at the very beginning of the last episode :exploding_head:

You cannot imagine the depths of your validity, my flowery friend.

Keep looking, y’all make me spoil. I obviously need to stay in the shadows but the Mirror is histrionic. :grimacing:

I did look at all that and even the previous chapter to see if I accidentally gave you the gain of ROYAL_APPROVAL but no luck. I’ve changed it into an if/elif/else (ironic, I know. Your name is all over my scripts and I always remember you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:) I believe you’re the only one on the thread who can check if you get the right branch but… agh, it’s late (for you too, I think) and I haven’t finished my article
I’ll be brighter tomorrow, hopefully.

I’m probably going to snooze in the Mirror Realm but I might leave you all with this screenshot from @Nessya as a thinly-veiled poke/jab and see what you come up with.

Yeah I did notice that the Mirror recapped the choices I made, including ones that would have made him angry (so I didn’t convince him) but then said I managed to convince him anyway

Edit: I can check my replay though to see if it’s fixed

Okay, this is new :unamused: :grimacing:

I’ll look into it tomorrow

Ahahah, one of the reasons why I don’t do branchings. It feels weird

I’m free anytime you are. Don’t hesitate to tell me, I’ll already be coding most of the night tonight. Just poke me with a link anytime you feel up for it. I’ll check it at that moment.

So according to Nylora, some of the theories are non-sense but what about the Wizard King and the Kingdom of Rosebridge, special attention the last, since Book 2 is the Bed of Roses

Rosebridge is one of the locations of book 2 :eyes:

That was so much backreading but worth it. I will admit: The fact someone wants to kiss Blade instead of shoving him into a river is the most foreign idea to me possible. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

I have to admit, imagining Blade in a Fairy Tale land is at least hilarious

He’s going to be so pissed

Honestly make it all a musical fairy tale to have him suffer more

Hmm, I feel like the Mirror isn’t bound as in trapped to only appear by the pocket mirror - which makes you wonder how Nylora got ownership of such a treasure. I see the Mirror as living in its own pocket realm with access to the pools of other places and able to dip its fingers in, metaphorically speaking.

But I do believe in the theory that Jasper must have some magical heritage and that is what allowed the Mirror to speak to him in a dream. Possibly, ironically, aided in doing so by the physical pain he’s in from his eye?

More like unlocking her true self, I should think. :joy:

No, no, Jasper would be the only love interest and a really fucked up one and we’d be forced to romance him for like 40+ episodes. Cue Vera being pinned against the nearest hard surface every three chapters.

Falling for His Killer

Jasper Haddin is everything you should hate - thief, kingkiller, leader of bandits - but he’s returned and come to tame your wild heart. What happens when you take a bite of the forbidden fruit? [Full CC] [Mature]
