Update: The branching worked perfectly and I’m currently like this:

I’m not sure whether I should attach the screenshots because they are… OH MY GOD.
@Spiegel.TheMirror
That was the best scene I’ve ever read.

Not quite. In my original play through, I made all the appeasing choices and convinced Alys, and the Mirror summarized the choices and outcome correctly.
But in my replay I chose (earlier be gentle with prince, then in 21 —> “it’s a blaster” > “hand self in willingly” > “we don’t have time for this” > “the Alys I know wouldn’t sacrifice innocents.” And the outcome was that I didn’t convince him obviously.
So in that replay the Mirror actually summarized the choices I made correctly, but then said I still managed to convince him & the rest of the story was the same with the guards in Eraywyn and Alys calling the bunker explaining he is going to help. So it recognized the choices I made, but not the outcome
Okay I avoided the biggest spoilers, here are the smaller ones:
I blame Spiegel for making this scene too irresistible not to share.
Also I chose “Let Eraywyn take over”. This was the outcome.
Well, I’m so happy that I’m replaying
You’ll get a perfect Hunter gift

Me @ Jasper: go ahead. It’s morally correct to steal from rich people, especially royalty
Yup, they stole first
Is it bad that I want to bring Blade to reality to stab my superior who is disturbing me on my holidays?
Also… the blond comment
Aaah I love Jasper’s quick witted brain.
Nah, we’re here for all kinds of Boss Fights
Hood isn’t physically capable of stabbing anyone and that’s just facts
Guys, I swear this thread only jumps like 500 post while I’m sleeping everyday ![]()
Oh god, they don’t know what is a 3 dimensioned character and this is sad
It’s the best plot building strategy in my opinion, just take care with them starting a revolution ![]()
Alys became self aware and he wants to help regardless ![]()
Vera repeated because of character development ![]()
Let’s burn him for the elements
To be fair it’s sort of insane that this thread has been up for less than 3 weeks (I made it right after chapter 20 was released) and in that time we’ve gotten two additional chapters from Spiegel and over 1000 replies on the thread lol
I was the 1000th post. Do I get a gift?
Blade killed me
-orders a single black coffee, kicks the kids out of the car and leaves-

Decisions decisions

you’ll have to forgive me. There’s only so much I can do with ProCreate pocket on my glitchy ass phone
Oh, sorry, do you mean the PM? I haven’t sent it because I wasn’t sure if you still wanted it. I’m done with the error finding ![]()
I don’t know what that is and at this point I’m too afraid to ask ![]()
You are sunshine, pure and simple ![]()
Ah, I see! Well, then I definitely gave everyone the Royal Approval accidentally but I cannot for the life of me find it. So, I’m going to leave the ugly band-aid
I’m not a coder. Thanks for the insight!
Too kind!
But I am quite fond of that scene. I can honestly say that locking Alys in the cache is cannon because I love these interactions, not because it’s the wisest choice.
WOULD STAB AS A WARNING is correct. I wanted to do that one next ![]()
Ah… I love you ![]()
Hopefully Vera No-Revolutions-In-My-Damn-Kingdom Valenledge will keep them in check.
Alys: But… I do believe her…
Me: STICK TO THE SCRIPT, CURSES!
Sol approved plan!
YESSSSS
You called dibs on Hunter already, isn’t that enough?

Although it is someone’s birthday soon…
There can be no adventure without monumentally bad decisions, imo.
OMG, that Hunter edit though
