I’m not aro either; very much the opposite actually. I definitely think there’s quite a bit of romantic subtext throughout TaT (subtext that will probably be in CotC too if I had to guess), though it’s more subtle than what some episode readers are used to.

Haha I’m like trying to check a student’s final exam while also compulsively checking IG for the chapter 23 announcement because I don’t want to miss it and be hours behind everyone else reading it 
I agree with Spirit. Ace and aro are definitely two different things and while I would say in my personal life I have very low romantic attachments, I have a very Soft™ heart. And the romantic undertones of TaT are definitely noticeable. But it ties into that conversation about how some readers are like jAsPEr iSN’t a LoVe iNteREsT and in this thread we’re like wwooooowww that is fake news!!! Look at our collective meltdown over how sweet Jasper’s dream was 
But the romanticism plays out pretty naturally in how the characters develop and how their relationships develop, while the story itself is still about what it actually says it’s about.

Omg I’m screaming!!! It’s funny that we figured that part out (more or less) but I (at least) didn’t see the heart Ross debt thing coming. But obviously that makes perfect sense, especially since the important part all along has been finding metaphorical (and literal) heart.
So Jasper (who has the box) literally has Vera’s heart yep yeah. Omg but also I have so many Vera feelings. So. Many.

Me too! In my other play through, I had to replay chapter 22 and I was amazed how Nylora pulled off such an acting while she was promising all those in her heart cross. I genuinely believed her. Truly a villain
