Things in stories that make you NOT want to finish

  1. Too many meaningless pretty words- I have a passionate hatred for these kind of stories.
    Their chapters are usually very long stretched and they probably use 10 minutes to explain their character going down to the forest while trying to create inspirational quotes. Who enjoys these? They really misuse the concept of episode, “show more don’t tell more”

  2. “It will get better in episode 12” - Maybe you should use the time making your first episodes better, instead of trying to convince yourself that people will read til episode 12 for it to get “better”. Afteall, the first chapters is what makes readers captured

  1. Speaking of first chapters - long Introductions. Seriously, I don’t want to sit through and read the mc talking about her life long story, about how she met her best friend. It just completely ruins the essence of the story and the character for me.
