And also when the story has a very long intro

OMG THIS ONE- Like I’m okay with it being long in the first chapter, but after that we should get the option to skip, or a shorter version.

Ok. My ultimate turn off (besides the should be duh stuff) that I notice happening more. aND. MORE. I loathe when a story has like 40 episodes and at like epi 26, the mc character just ~gets amnesia~ bc of a car crash etc or moves far far away or thinks a character is dead. Not bc its a bad plot point, but bc its a HUGE plot point. Like if I’m gonna get through 20 episodes and the story I signed up for finally begins to conclude- PLEASE just conclude it already!!! I stop reading immediately if all that drama I conquered restarts. I really cannot deal with continuous drama that lasts more than 25 episodes. You gotta know when your story reaches its end dude

Some for me is:

  • When the plot is too confusing and it’s hard to understand
  • When a character is killed off for no reason whatsoever
  • When there’s a plot twist so confusing and it turns out to be irrelevant

When the episode has cultural appropriation and is only 5 minutes long, WITH the same bad boy looping music. It hurts my ears.

bad grammar and bad directing is one thing –
but if in the first chapter the MC meets the LI in the back alley of a club
I am gone, goodbye :smiley:

especially when the LI casually saves the MC from a random creep?
